I definitely believe the price to be $500 this month. Actually maybe even this week if the trend continues like this. It is not impossible and I wouldn't even be surprised.

I'm convinced this is just a bubble, like every time this year. We've got several thresholds to be sure that the price will fall to previous levels once again.

i don't think this is a bubble. it could be when the price in january reaches $1000 and $2000 in juli. then i would somewhat understand if you think it's a bubble. at this point it's purely the demand that is driving the bitcoin price higher. |

I think it's evident that the market just doesn't won't let the price go bear 500$, profit taking is too strong at this point after all these months of trading below today's levels. |

500$ is so close it's no longer something that you need to hold fingers crossed for. Anyways, i don't plan to sell even if it reaches that price by xmass.
There is just too much good going on, that the price should at the least maintain this price level, so why sell, makes no sense to me.

real selling will come in may and june next year just before halving or even better buying will massively start and then who know what will happen |

the price will surely go to 500 in my opinion if not even more because the new year is coming and i strongly believe that people are getting more interested in bitcoins right now what means they buy more of it lets hope it will make the price jump even higher than those 500

Because China is the only buying force around the world? USA and Europe are still big in bitcoin and should not be disregarded.. Maybe China is putting a lot in it, but if the Western countries start pumping in more volume, the effect will be similar. |

Yes, bitcoin is very close to this, I think that if a little pump and dump happens bitcoin can go up to at least $550. That will be a small pump though.
Who knows, maybe we'll all wake up on Christmas day and find a nice surprise.

I hope so that it will before Xmas bitcoin price will go higher, so that I can buy some good presents. If not I am still happy that bitcoin is kinda high for now. We will see what well happen. I think Santa will give me 100BTC in my wallet.  |

Seems the OP is going to be right, which makes me very very happy.
With a 500 price it's logic we can expect another increase before the halving. But a lot can and will happen. Let's get to 500 first,
and then decide what is going to happen

It's currently $455 and still it can rise before halving. Hope by the end of 2015, we can reach $500-$550 as there is a huge demand for the currency since 2 months and even non bitcoin people coming forward to invest in this currency. |

I very much hope so. It is doable if there aren't significant dumps as soon as we are nearing the $500 price level. If we can manage to support the price long enough, then $500 is easy.

I would say it is clear now that by the end of this December Bitcoin will reach 500 $ for sure.The current price is very stable and it seems it is new bottom of the price for Bitcoin and from here price will just go straight up .

I think we can see price before the end of this year even between 550-600 $.I dont agree with those who say this is bubble.i will say this is real start of price to reach where it should be.Halving is approaching and there will be a continuous rise in the price through out this period with small corrections.

Exactly, this is exactly what happened in late 2012. After being down for so long, it took the price a while to get back through $20 because of all the sellers who bought in at the $5 range for so long. However at some point that selling was exhausted and then the price was able to launch. We are sting the same thing here, some of the accumulation from the long $200 period is slowly being sold which holds the rally down, but this too will exhaust itself. |

Current price is truly stable. We will just have to wait and see which direction it moves in. If there is a break out, crossing $500 will be easy. I am not sure if we can achieve it in the 13 days remaining though.  |
