I don't think this is possible. You're going to have to show your ID and give out your personal information if you want to open up a bank account outside of Greece. It is possible to open up a bank account anywhere in Europe though.

This is true. Banks are always going to need a record of your personal info, they need an address, phone number, name etc. in order for them to open up a bank account.

@pamamolf, you should check also Number26 & LeuPay for getting an IBAN account. Not actually banks (warning for large amount Grin), but electronic payment services with partnership with banks. Check these Greek links for more info:

Hi

I am looking to open a bank account outside of Greece to avoid capital control limits so i can get payments there and then to be able to sent them to online exchange sites so i can buy Bitcoins Smiley

Is such a service exist? It will be great if they don't ask a lot of papers and don't reveal a lot of my personal info.....

Thank you

There are many countries where you can open an account, however every country will require personal information. Some to look at would be Singapore, Hong Kong, BVI, Cayman Islands and Seychelles.

I don't know of any anonymous bank accounts.
Some options:
Bitcoin ATMs that take cash.
Sell goods for BTC

You can open a bank account in Switzerland or in London, without much hassle, you'll just need to show your passport, and give them an address where they will send you your card and access codes to your account. Most likely, they will ask you to keep a minimum balance of at least 10,000 €.

Forget everything you read about opening a bank account as a non-resident without physically visiting the bank. There are lawyers who can open a bank account for you in Singapore without you leaving Europe, but they charge 1,500 € for the service, so it's cheaper to travel there.

In the good old days, in Switzerland or Austria, it was possible to open a bank account without even showing your passport, but those days are long gone...

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

Yes i can buy from local people btc when the price is 410 euro they sell 465 euro lol Smiley

No way !

The problem for example with Kraken is  that i can deposit euro only from my my bank account and when i do a job on the net and a user want to pay me they can't sent them there Sad

They sent euro to my main bank account that i have the capital control....

So a bank account on another place is perfect for me but when i say privacy i was talking if it is possible when someone do a deposit on the IBAN to may not see my name and surname.

I don't think the ~10% premium for local purchase is unreasonable.  Unless you were talking about a whole bunch of coins, of course.

I am looking to open a bank account outside of Greece to avoid capital control.

Aliens (non-resident people) can not open bank account in many countries now because of the terrorist law (word choosen).

So, use local bitcoin seller instead and deal with your restricted cash per week.
Or you can trust somes quoted sellers with local bank wire ...

Most banks if they have some name behind them will ask for proof of income and other personal details, it's just the way it is and it's actually required by the government so I don't see how you can avoid that unless you want to trust some shady ones with your money.

Why don't you just invest in Bitcoin? Wouldn't that be an easier way to send online transactions? That's what I would do if I was in your shoes.

That's a great option as well. You don't need to fill out anything like you do when opening up a bank account. It's best to invest into bitcoin, make profits rather than going through all the hassle of opening up a bank account in a different country.

I work at Cashila, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask Smiley
You can check our official thread here at Bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268399.0 where you can find some positive reviews.

But in short, Cashila is legit. We are a small startup and probably the only service that has a license to do bitcoin to SEPA transactions. Also we are regulated by the Czech National Bank, so all your fund are safe.
We did more than 1.000.000 EUR transactions for our customers in this year, which is by itself impressive.

Feel free to try us at https://www.cashila.com/
If you register, PM me your email, so I'll credit you 500 EUR of 0% fee transfers - as we have a special offer for all new Bitcointalk users Wink

I don't think there is a bank that will allow you to open an account without showing any form of identification. Banks needs identification to know who they are dealing with.

crypto is here for this reason, there is no persoanl id require for when you open a client of bitcoin, this is why i like it, i hate when the taxman can control every fucking movemements you do, it's like your money are not your, but belong to them

if you want a bank account that do not require id, you need i think one of those creditc ard without an account, that allow you to spend bitcoin anonymously, but they have high fee

You know what, purchase Bitcoin with your money. And exchange it into perfect money. Perfect money does not have any limits on how much money an unverified account can hold.

the best way for you is https://www.cashila.com/  you can open as many acount you want and stay anonimus only for 1000 $ a year but you just need a difrent mail and that it
if you gona play with big money there is no way of anonimus   and is also way risky for you

find other person that have bitcoin and buy them in person   is the best way

You might find useful to take a look at Fidor Bank. They have some free current accounts. Registration can be done online and they not used to ask too many questions. They are also pretty much bitcoin friendly (e.g. bitcoin.de made have integration with Fidor accounts), so Fidor unlikely to freeze your account because of bitcoin related activities.

I think you just touched on the most controversial side of Bitcoin.... You have some pseudo-anonymity until you need to convert to fiat... then you have to deal with the limitations

of the fiat system and all it's rules and AML/KYC regulations. We should accept that part, if we want to convert back to fiat. The solution is to keep everything in Bitcoin and stay

pseudo-anonymous and border-less, without all these restrictions.  Wink
