The ECB Executive Board member Joerg Asmussen will not introduce compulsory levies in other euro countries except Cyprus, this is what he said.
What do you think is this "true" or "not true".

The ECB doesn't have the power to introduce compulsory stuff.
They can pressure very hard but not make anything mandatory.
Just saying :-)

He bothered to say this, so it's probably a lie... surely they are trying to prevent bank runs all over the EU.
