No news bulletin or anything on the site, but 4chan is pretty much the most popular anonymous-based forum in existence.

Oh, and I so called this 3 days ago. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=111992.msg1390115#msg1390115

Congrats!  Cool

Great news.

Apparently they make this move quite loudly.  I just had a pick on /b/ and I saw a large red banner saying:

« You can now purchase 4chan Passes using Bitcoin.  Click here to learn more and purchase. »

4chan may be a freaking mess, but it's a website of considerable audience.

Its ranked as 2nd largest forum on the internet, however that ranking is achieved with post count alone. Member ranking count is much lower, just under 100k. That doesn't make sense to me. Does 4chan have many non-member visitors?

Member ranking? Are you referring to those who have purchased a 4chan pass? I'd say at 99% or more of 4chan visitors have not, and simply post anonymously, as is 4chan's claim to fame: forum anonymity and the behavior that comes with it.

Member count is what I meant to say.

Can we then safely estimate 10x more visitors than members, based on the post count of nearly 1 billion ?  ( Shocked)
