The blockchain still growing, normal users can't afford to mantain a full node, so I hope that we need to pay something to full node owners so that they will be rewarded for their service? That not implies centralization, anyone with money will be allowed to run a full node, but full node have to be rewarded for their work.
So in the future, I hope, we should pay something to full nodes in order to get access to their blockchain service.
Usenet network is not centralized but you have to pay.
