During 2016 bitcoin will pump above $1000 but at the end it will be trading with stability within range of $600-$700.
This is a very likely scenario, however it seems to me, that we will not see $1000 in this year. I think maximum it will be $900 and then hanging oround $600 - $700 till next pump. |

Bitcoin will have not the best year in this year and that is because the value keeps stable for a long time and that is bad because many people wants to make profit.
And that is now not possible for them and that must change soon otherwise they cant make profit with it,

The bitcoin price will stay above $800 by then end of the year. If there is no big pump and dump, it could be higher.
If you really believe that the price will reach $800 this year then go all in today and you'll nearly double your money within 2016!! Yeah those people who hope that the price reaches more than $800 in future invest their coins in some methods so as to yield good profits at the time of halving event. The value will be not that high in this year and that is because the value is not even that high now and it keeps also stable for a long time so that is already bad. So we have not to wait a longer time until the value will be more worth and we need some patience also. |

OP's prediction has failed and so its now in valid to talk about his forecast. Now with the increase in the price bitcoin might continue to reach $500 within the end or middle of this month. If we were near or over $500 when near the days of halving, surely will reach $650-$800 after halving. If this happens we can experience a price around $900 by the end of 2016.
But I would like to think this is possible. Considering the whole halving idea which we will have less supply of BTC, the price will even go higher that what we may expect. I only hope to have more funds to invest to save me from getting broke. |

I think it will be around $800 by the end of the year, but of course halving will play an important role in deciding the price for this year.

That could happen when the price is pumped to $1000 very soon.
There will not be any need of bumping of bitcoin prices. There are lot of supportive news and events (like halving) to make bitcoin prices to reach $1000 price levels.
If the price rises slowly to $1000, it will hold there.
But, there are less possibilities for staying there stable. In my view, will keep on rising towards $2000 price levels. |

yeah if the current boring slow rise keeps continuing for the current month then $500 is the target of the end of this month. but this cannot go on forever, there will be a jump at some point! |

yeah if the current boring slow rise keeps continuing for the current month then $500 is the target of the end of this month. but this cannot go on forever, there will be a jump at some point!Or a dump! Altough very unlikely, but it could happen. $500 by the end of may would be nice by the way.  At the moment it's again these boring sideways movement no one here really likes.  |

We are having plenty of time remaining within this year. So, there are lot of possibilities we can expect to make this year as a year of bitcoin. My prediction for 2016 would be, we are going to see new all time high price for bitcoins this year. |

We are having plenty of time remaining within this year. So, there are lot of possibilities we can expect to make this year as a year of bitcoin. My prediction for 2016 would be, we are going to see new all time high price for bitcoins this year. An all time high would be great but i don't see that coming. At best i predict a price somewehere between 500 and 550 dollar. But who knows what is going to happen. It's speculation after all. |

It was great that we had such a stable period, for such a long time. All those people saying that Bitcoin would never be able to reach a long period of time with a stable price have been proven wrong, but those days are over. Soon we will go through the next phase, which means we are going 4 figures and beyond, so the time to stack up on cheap BTC while the price is cheap and stable are coming to an end.

It was great that we had such a stable period, for such a long time. All those people saying that Bitcoin would never be able to reach a long period of time with a stable price have been proven wrong, but those days are over. Soon we will go through the next phase, which means we are going 4 figures and beyond, so the time to stack up on cheap BTC while the price is cheap and stable are coming to an end.
What's soon for you? I really can't see anything that indicates that we'll see 4 figure prices within 1 or even 2 years. |
