boring??? yeah in the first day on 2016 price look boring because price looks strong and stable in around $420-$430. i want to buy bitcoin but worried price will goes down.

Yeah same here even I am afraid because there might be a dip in the value of Bitcoin during second quarter of 2016 so I am planning to buy an Bitcoin by the third quarter of 2016 when the price will be comparatively less and probably end of selling it during December.

The more number of people hear about Bitcoin versus common country currencies, the more people see the intrinsic value of a fully digital currency not directly governed by any centralized force. Bitcoin is in the right place at the right time. The only real question is how far does this rocket go upward But sure It will grow after halving atleast

I doubt that 2016 will be boring for Bitcoin. Too much going to happen - the block halfing, the introduction of 14/16nm tech, the continuing China economy meltdown, the EU talk about cracking down on "terrorist" usage of Bitcoin (and probable badly written law that will either be too narrow to have any effect at all, or will be too wide and will fuck with folks with ZERO connection to terrorism), etc.


 2017 on the other hand I suspect will be boring.

Nah that is just non-sense I think bitcoin is not dropping is just the beginning of the year.
I am just guessing after a couple of weeks we will see going little by little to the 500 dollars.

It might look boring right now, because not much is happening. With a lot of companies this is the case when the year is just starting out. Especially in the first month of the new year.
Things have slowed down now that the holidays are over. Everyone is just trying to get back on track with everything. I think it will become more interesting a month or 2 from now.

The halving are determined important times for bitcoin, it happens not a lot so yes offcourse it won't be a boring  year. You have to be some kind of lunatic to state that a halving year s a boring year. So yeah with the halving in mind I predict some excitement starting june.

Situation in Bitcoin changes daily, but having a stable price for two days is not yet meaning anything in a year perspective!

One cannot simply say 2016 is not a good year for bitcoin. 2016 will be the major year for bitcoin community. Bitcoin will be explored by more institutions rather than in the past. Besides bitcoin, blockchain is going to take big, bigger discussions this year. Deflation is happening in this year from the beginning on a lot of countries. This will lead to find other form of investments. One of them will be bitcoin. This may make bitcoin to rise. However, one cannot say and use these information to speculate it. It will be an interesting year for bitcoin.
