2016 hasn't even started yet and you're calling it a boring year?
I don't think 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin at all. Halving is coming up and I believe that the price will a new ATH.
I'm looking forward to more people adopting to bitcoin as well as more merchants and bitcoin getting more awareness.

Very boring,bitcoin price will touch 680$,Visa is implamantating bitcoin blockchain..And in Switzerlend will be
referendum to stop money creation by commercial banks.Maybe on dogecoin will be more fun

I don't think 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin at all. Halving is coming up and I believe that the price will a new ATH.
I'm looking forward to more people adopting to bitcoin as well as more merchants and bitcoin getting more awareness.
I agree with you, I think 2016 is the beginning of the rise of bitcoin, the price will probably go up, and there will be very much about bitcoin developing world so that people know how to use, and the price will probably go up |

The price is strong and stable and i think this year is the best than the other year!
Honestly i don't know what halving means but i think if halving is over the price will rise just like on 2013 but i dont really know how much will be raise but i have strong feelings that it will happen not just now maybe next month or march. So this year will be the best..

" bitcoin itself is the innovation. what else could you think of as being an innovation that will help move bitcoin even faster fordward? so far there haven't been a boring year for bitcoin. all years were quite profitable for smart traders. |

Well i don't think it will be boring year for BTCitcoin as there are so many positive news from big merchants and investors all are taking it more serious than before and one thing is clear it will get more high value and price will continue to increase thought the whole year, there will be another stable floor around $1000 before end of this year.

The hype has started dying down, USD exchanges are dominated by Chinese onesinvestments are getting back to 2013 levels and the supposedly interesting bitcoin-related projects of 2015 didn't have a positive impact to adoption or the market.

That is exactly the problem I have been mentioning many times in this forum. Contrary to many optimist that overflood bitcointalk, I still believe there is very little that has been done to achieve the mass adoption. Bitcoin is currently moving purely on the speculation forces, and that is not good at all in the long term. Having said that, I don't expect boring 2016 due to the halving event which is a gift to speculators. I actually expect quite a lot of volatility. |

Corrections yes, but not trend reversal. Bitcoin is by its nature volatile and 15% swings in each direction are not yet a sign of trend reversal. |
