The bitcoin price is staying for few weeks at $400 - $425 and there is not high pump or dump, i don't think that 2016 will be boring for bitcoin, on the contrary i think that 2016 will be very interesting because of the halving.
Yeah this will be better year in compare to the past as we are halving this year so we can expect higher price and bitcoin will always be in news attracting many people towards it. |

well at least now it is really boring from my point of wiev, there are no increases or decreases of price thus the price is not moving at all and its boring for me in my opinion it would be better if the price started growing already as theres not much time left before the halving what means that we need to attract more investors to bitcoin Well currently is not happening anything innovative or something new in the cryptocurrency industry, when ethereum was on the top of its success the bitcoin started decreasing its value, so something should happen to be a reason why the bitcoin price will be increased, the July is coming and i think that people will prepare to buy more bitcoins before halving. |

Bitcoin price grows gradually even if there is no more halving effect. Price increase will never make 2016 a year of bitcoin expect the halving. exactly. the block halving might only have a very minimal and short term impact on the price as it doesn't say anything about the years after that. that's why i tend to focus only on slower but more stable growths. slow growth is way more sustainable as it allows the price to build strong support levels to protect the price. |

What is even more optimistic about current bitcoin price is fact that we didn't see much price drop after that recent ShapeShift hacking & robbery.
Maybe we are already in phase when bitcoin community is not reacting with absurd exaggeration on any sign of some exchange problems.

OP will have to admit he was wrong once we start going to the moon this summer due the big halvening event. He wil either not come back to face the shame or come back under an alt and never post again. This is what people that make a statement and are wrong usually do.
And even if nothing happened and the price stays stable that just means more time for the smart people to keep buying BTC monthly before the inevitable rise.

It can be indeed a boring year for Bitcoin, because you can see that the value is now stable around this time and many people are not happy about it because they want to make profit soon.
There is a possibility that you can make profit only after some 2 years or something, it is now not rising.

It will be boring as you can see you see that the value is now not even rising so that is quite bad, but you have to wait for later in the future when the price will be higher so you can sell it with a good profit.
I think that it will be not the best year for Bitcoin this year because the price is also not jumping and the halving will be not that best now.
