I hope not the beginning of 2016 has been pretty boring. There was not much happening with the prices. I hope that is going to change soon because other wise more people will leave.

The wise people will not leave bitcoin just because there is not much going on with its price there are still a lot of people that are profiting with their daily trade and they are happy about it.

This is the calm before the storm. When things like reward halving and blocksize change are coming, and yet the price remains so steady, big roller coaster is coming...

True. However, what's the matter with bitcoins having a stable/steady price? I don't think it's such a bad thing what is currently happening. We know that at some point, bitcoin price will reach its peak and stop rising.

OP will have to admit he was wrong once we start going to the moon this summer due the big halvening event. He wil either not come back to face the shame or come back under an alt and never post again. This is what people that make a statement and are wrong usually do.
And even if nothing happened and the price stays stable that just means more time for the smart people to keep buying BTC monthly before the inevitable rise.

People keep saying this, but no matter how many times this is stated, it's been proven wrong again and again. Aside of the halving, upcoming events don't really look that exciting. Nothing that could make a new rally sound plausible even remotely. But then again, bitcoin rallies so far were driven purely by market speculation so there's no reason to try and make predictions on the price based on real world events unless something really important is happening. And so far in 2016 nothing aside of the scaling debate and the roadmap has sounded significant to me. The whole fork war that has been going on for a while is mostly bad press for bitcoin though, and very boring never the less.

i agree, it is always fun and risky to trade bitcoin especially if you do it every day with the small sideways changes in price. so no time will be boring for bitcoin.
besides as i said before this year has a couple of  huge event coming up which will change any boring situation and will make it as big as last time both for bitcoin holders and also the media like last time.
