Did someone on this forum seriously have to wait a month to receive their order? I recently placed my second order with Amagi prior to reading the last few post here...if i would have known i would have to wait anywhere close to 30 days to receive my silver, i would have bought from a different company. For the record, my first order did take longer to receive than i expected. It certainly wasnt close to month however. I will be sure to post how long it takes to receive my order whenever it arrives.

I've had to wait a month once. I have ordered form them multiple times. No matter how long it takes, they do always come through with the correct order. Even if BTC skyrockets or goes into a freefall, they honor the purchase price at the time the order was placed. So, unless you are planning on flipping the precious metals for quick profit, you should feel secure ordering from Amagi.

Hey guys, I just wanted to jump back into this thread and let everyone know the results of my recent order placed with Amagi. This was my second time doing business with Amagi and this one shipped quicker than my first order.
From the time i ordered to when i actually received my silver was less than a week. Obviously I was more than happy with the time frame, and more importantly my order was exactly what i bought.
At this point i would definitely order from this company in the future.

I don't think they would ever cancel Bitcoin payments, as Amagi plans to become a "Bitcoin-only" precious metals dealer soon. I would say to try giving them a call maybe.

I see bitcoin still listed as a payment option but I have not gone all the way to checkout. Did you get your order in? I was happy with my last order from Amagi and hope they are still up. I am a little concerned because they have not posted on the forums in awhile and because BTC price has dropped since they started promoting buying precious metals with BTC. I hope to order again from them in the future!

I have a pending order and after waiting a month now I'm 99.9% sure I've been ripped off. They take 10days to reply to my where is my order email, "we'll ship as soon as possible". I just want my btc back, no reason for a delay on that! If they are not scammers they need to post an explanation for delaying 'cash' orders a month, otherwise stop accepting orders. This reddit post sums it up well, "You've been bent over and goxed. I too have a pending bitcoin order, sad to say I wish I had used paypal. Be happy it's only that much, my order is MUCH bigger. I see this is the biggest problem with bitcoin, it's cash. Would you give some random far away person cash you didn't know?, hell f no.. I trusted them somewhat because I placed and received several orders in the past, now they get my biggest order and run.. I'm guessing they have been stupid, got ripped off themselves, or some govt agency took their assets, that got them screwed as so many other bitcoin companies..or maybe just scammers..who knows. Provident metals accepts btc and seems to ship super fast same or next day. But I'd have to assume they will run off with btc as well one day.. Use bitcoin as cash and you won't get goxed." I will post again if I ever see my btc or order...

Im hoping Amagi just had a bottleneck with their suppliers and forgot to stop taking online orders. I would like to see someone from their company post here addressing these concerns as soon as possible.
Obviously this site holds some weight in terms of spreading either good or bad references to future customers. I really hope this situation doesnt end badly....fingers crossed

OK! I did finally receive my order but it was slightly longer than a month delay!
I'd like to know the real reason for such a delay, in any case there is no excuse for it when you're paid in BTC.
The US mint just stopped shipping silver eagles so maybe just shortage of stock, I don't know.. just remember bitcoin is like cash when it's gone it's gone..

Whats really concerning to me is that this thread has 56 pages of which recently people are posting MAJOR delays in getting their orders...and yet the Amagi rep hasnt felt the need to come here and post any explanation in close to 3 months! Certainly in this business things happen that are out of our control, a simply post explaining whats causing the recent delay is long over due. Bueller.....Bueller.....Bueller....

I searched for this thread hoping for an update. While I am glad that people have still been getting their coins, I share Shattered's concern. I guess they have given up on bitcointalk. However, it does not look like they have given up on bitcoin as they still offer it as a payment method. So I hope they will return to the boards.

Well, maybe they are taking the same approach for comments on bitcointalk as they do with shipping: We will get around to it when we get around to it.... Unfortunately for me personally, im ready to make another silver purchase. I might have to give my business to a different company on principle alone. So, if anyone from Amagi is reading this thread and thinking that addressing our communities concerns WONT hurt their future business, Im happy to inform you ------ your wrong.

My order was placed July 14 2015...it still has not been filled or shipped. It is only a $300 order not huge and for what they said they have in stock, so the excuse of no stock fails. They then said they were in a merger process...which failed. Then I got a, we are backed up on orders, which ok maybe if your actually filling them! I DO NOT recommend using amagi metals, I only used them because of the bitcoin option, which is no longer available. I do HIGHLY recommend moneymetals.com who I have placed many orders over the past few years and had prompt order fill & shipment (1-2 days) and their selection is great as well as prices.

Thank you for posting your recent experience with Amagi Metals. Im sorry to hear you have been given the run around regarding what you paid for and i also think whether its $300 or $3 customer service should be stellar every time. At this point, I strongly advise AGAINST ordering from Amagi.

I used Amagi twice, but not in the last few months due to information contained in this thread.
I now use Provident Metals (8 orders so far) - pretty good selection, great shipping speed, fair prices and they accept bitcoin.
The one thing I do not like is GoCoin, which is who they use for bitcoin payment processing. They quote btc price 2 - 3% below coinbase which is a bit of a hidden fee.
