just curious how long would it take you to get another kilogram gold bar?

i also wonder this, why was it taken off the site?

We've never had a kilogram gold bar listed, however we do have a 10 oz gold bar listed here:

Should have ordered more when bitcoin was at gold parity...

I got another order of silver, and it was very loud and jingly when shaken.  Instead of having a foam plug top and bottom in the white 20x1oz round holders to keep everything packed tightly, they were unpadded at either end (though there was a very flat foam peanut in the top of both) and they rattled.  It looks like someone tried to secure the coins with a packing peanut, but they absolutely flattened it in shipping & were rattling free in the tubes.  Everything looks fine, but I wanted to provide feedback on this method of padding/noise reduction and point out that it totally and completely doesn't work.  The foam padding at either end is a much better option.

Package was nicely taped, though, as always!  The OPM and Sunshine rounds are a lot shinier than I expected!

Hello bitcoin aficionados,

We received very close to $1 million dollars in just bitcoin sales over Thanksgiving. About 10% of bitcoin orders that were placed did not go through our system because of the high volume of bitcoin transactions. This does not pertain to any other payment method. However your bitcoins are not missing! We have the transactions in BitPay and must manually enter them and provide you with the order number, which we are in the process of doing. We have received many requests over the weekend and will be responding to them today.

Please note that due to the high volume, there may be some delays in getting orders out the door. However shipments will be shipped in the order that they are placed and we are expecting to get ALL shipments made over Thanksgiving to be out the door by mid-late next week at the latest, if not earlier than that. At the end of the day that your order ships you will receive an email with shipping details. If you created an account and would like a status of your order, you can log into your account (https://www.amagimetals.com/customer/account/login/) for an update, send us an email at support@amagimetals.com, or give us a call at (800) 882 - 8496, M-F, 8-5 MST.

The numbers are in. For November, we received more bitcoin than any other retail business in the world, except for one. We have been accepting bitcoin for a year now and could not be happier with the bitcoin community. Your patience, support, business, and love has been more than we could ever ask for. Thank you so much. We hope to continue to serve the bitcoin community for many years to come.

Thanks.  Still waiting for most of my order to ship, I'll call Monday and double check with you guys.

put an order of 5 bitcoin rounds on monday on what was supposed to be a 2 day shipping. Meanwhile no email, no conformation, nothing. On the order it got added a .02BTC that's a 20% fee, that's highway robbery that is well above the percentage claimed on the web page. I really don't recommend doing business with your company, and with so much fake silver and gold around it makes me wonder on what I will, if I will, get. I will run the diamagnetic test if I ever get the rounds.

Here's the transaction:

Status: 741 confirmations
Date: 12/2/2013 21:22
To: 1NAtJycq28BZe9KfkfiyVRkwp148swqoFg
Debit: -0.1169 BTC
Transaction fee: -0.0002 BTC
Net amount: -0.1171 BTC
Transaction ID: ed57bc8c9c2fcd094fee34f04f58db58bca3c771e2327e984ff15dd22b38649a

I'm betting it was an issue with the BitPay processing. Happened to me before, I sent the payment then the page refreshed and I never got any confirmation or anything. All I had to do was call them and they made a new order for me and marked it as paid. They are very friendly and helpful when you call. I'm not sure why you waited this long to say anything.

I'm also not sure what you mean about the fee though, I guess we'll see what they say.

was incorrect on the fee as they mix usd with btc and vice versa. But the point about not having received anything after a week stands

The payments are sent to our payment processor Bitpay. If there is no order established in our system we have no notification that an order is going unfulfilled. If you haven't already, can you please e-mail us this information to support@amagimetals.com? I'll be happy to create a manual order for you and apply the payment details you provided once we are credited from our payment processor. We have a 100 gram but not a 1,000 gram gold bar on our website. Not sure where you saw the kilogram gold bar on our website as we don't have an active or inactive listing for it.

+1, the Canadian Mint's bars are really pretty, and we're all addicted to 9s  Cool

done. FYI the order came back to the cart. I tried to pay it again and in the middle complained the cart was empty, so you may have an asynchronous problem on your web. but thank you for your reply, it showd you're not a scam. I'm very suspicious of business that accept bitcoins as is a field filled with scammers due to the no chargeback

Agoracommodities.com has 1 kg bars with four 9s and they take bitcoin. I have not yet purchased from Agora Commodites, so I can't vouch for them personally. I've seen good things written on these forums from time to time, though.

Amagi is most definitely legit.  A bit slow to ship, but I've always received everything I've ordered and have had good responses to customer service queries.

I can.  Agora is legit as well.  They tend to have a smaller, slightly less "interesting" selection, but they ship quickly (usually same day or next day) and I've never had any trouble with stuff arriving from them.

"A bit slow to ship?" I'm still waiting on an order I placed a month ago. This seems to be business as usual, though, as of the 6 or so times that I ordered from them, they've shipped on time maybe twice.

So I made three orders. First order, #15629 arrived.

Second order #16045, got shipping notification. Tracking # was the same as my first order.

Customer service is confused claims that is the right tracking #, even though I placed the order a day after that tracking # delivered (mustve time travelled). Back and forth a few emails.

Finally customer service says, Order #3 (#16703)probably includes order #2. Well order #3 arrived today, and that wasn't the case.

As such a big customer, how could they screw this up so badly? It is very stressful exchanging ten emails with a rep who gives you a tracking # that was delivered before you even ordered.

I would have to say slightly worse than a bit slow to ship. Actually received an order that I placed later for $1 silver certificates yet waiting on 2oz silver round that allegedly shipped on the 3rd of this month. Very unusual since in the past I've had pretty good turn around time with Amagi Metals...sorry to see this happening with them and won't be recommending them to any friends with shipping being what it is currently :/

In addition to a huge increase in orders which we've recently hired additional staff to assist with. Thank you for pointing this out!
