I have a webhosting that is of alright speeds in terms of loading pages and stuff, unlimited FTP accounts, unlimited disk space, unlimited sub domains, emails and all that. (500GB bandwidth)

Was wondering if anyone had anything they wanted from it, I'm happy to host files and websites if you supply a domain etc.
Not asking for payment however donations will always be accepted if you'd like.

Just trying to get a small name on bitcoin and use up this webhosting that I've got that almost never gets used.
PM me or post here and we can sort something out.

Thank you Smiley

Maybe you could host an Electrum node or something. Or host a download for the bootstrap.dat file usable when syncing bitcoin-qt on a new client. I don't really have any personal uses as I have my own dedicated hosting as well and it servers all my purposes.

It's cool of you to offer this to people just to spread the name of Bitcoin.

Electrum is a light bitcoin wallet client that instead of downloading the blockchain to your computer, which can take some time, it connects to a remote server with a copy of the blockchain and uses that. Your wallet is kept locally but your transactions and the like are verified against the remote server.

I saw a thread in the "alternative clients" board about how to set up an Electrum server I think. Just take a look over there I guess.
