There are currently problems with shares of a user submitted to the pool that get accepted despite being invalid. Still looking into it but banning that users seems to have restored normality for now.
Please only use the the official optiminer binaries when mining against the pool.
Could you unban me when it's fixed? If you want to know what I did just pm me. |

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Anyone knows what happened to the hodl pool hodl.optiminer.pl it just gives (boo) and errors.
I tried on many machines and from different ISP but always the same.
Also the pool rate dropped drastically since hours - since it started.
There was a few hours where it never worked I expierence the same so I mined something else. But its working now. Will it work with the pool ?
The optiminer ONLY works with the mining pool. You have to edit the batch file and put your HODL address. You can check here: http://hodl.optiminer.pl/Yes thanks I did and it works great I'm very pleased and I can mine at a fair rate of speed as well which I'm happy about.  |

Exchange rate has been higher before - right.
But it's still the only working coin (afaik) that generates interest.

Could you unban me when it's fixed? If you want to know what I did just pm me. I sent a pm but never got any response. The pool should be better protected now, I did some changes to the code. Payout delay is still a bit higher. But I expect that in one or two days payouts will happen again as soon as you reach a balance of 50 hodls. |

Can I rent hash power for hodl ? Can I use a vps ? I've been wondering and looking around but have not found a decent answer. I know nice hash does it but they want min 0.01 and I want to test it first 0.01 is a lot of btc just for a test.

Not sure if NiceHash even works anymore, you'd have to ask optiminer if it works with his pool, renting a vps would work but you'd have to make sure that it has more than 1GB of ram (hodl needs 1GB for mining) and that your hosting service is okay with it (not all hosting services allow mining), it probably isn't the most cost-efficient way of mining (you're probably better just buying coins  ) |

HOdl mining pool was stuck and not notiying new jobs. I restarted it and it is working again. Sorry for the interruption in mining.

The coin will unavoidably be diluted, with such a high interest rate. But at the same time, it encourages early adoption and holding, so if there is active development, it can pick up on later in time |

both works fine for me. In case of the pool going down the wallet is king  as diff is also down to the ground. |
