why is HODL les then 10ksat for buying and less then 5k sat selling Huh Angry Angry at YOBIT ?

Most likely due to miners dumping coins they mined with vps free trials.  It is too expensive to mine otherwise and it has already recovered.  Great time to buy when they get that low! HOdl will likely not get that low again.
i see , its now 13400 / 9000

I've got some BTC on the way to buy some more HOdl...I was pissed when I saw it drop that low and come back up and I couldn't buy any! 575 HOdl @ 5001sats are you kidding me?!

yeah that was stupid of the miner to dump so low, its been selling between 13K and 15K for a while now.

Also, the volume on the exchanges is pretty low. There are bigger trades on my OTC thread and even the total volume might be higher some days. Good to check there if you want to get a complete picture of the market. (Price on the thread has been fairly steady at around 11-12k.)

I've been happily paying 11-12k sat for weeks. Anyone selling below that is very silly indeed.

Yep, larger trades are happening off the exchanges - I think this is partly because very high interest is paid on all balances, and you lose quite a lot if you have HODL hanging around on exchanges. Best to place BTC buy orders on exchanges, but larger HODL sell orders on the OTC thread.

I am mining at the moment with 270Hps. It took me 46 hours (over 1000 blocks) to get a block. I think that's really bad luck.

When a pool goes online, I think we would wish us difficulty like:

difficulty" : 0.00215819

Edit: Good luck Thepuj!

Certainly. If you look at the early adopter bonus term interest it is still >3500% (from >4000%)

Yes it is. The current net hash is 52k so you would expect to get about 1/200 blocks. Everyone can have good and bad luck. Keep mining.

I think I am just not the right person for mining. Again 450 blocks and still nothing.

I would also like to add the mining seems strange to me. Again Im the guy mining with two computers. I have one old laptop 1.9 ghz amd chip 8 meg of ram it runs no more than 20 hash and 4 threads. it has hit 3 blocks in the last two days. At the same time my AMD 4 ghz running also non stop 16 mb or ram not a single block since the 11th, oh and it runs at 70 to over 100 hash @ 8 threads. I see you guys talk about Luck in mining, is it possible for a device to be unlucky? or maybe even cursed. I checked my clock, only thing I can think of different is the big computer has a second wallet on it Noble, which seem to be working fine staking all the time. Is there any thing you guys can think of for me to check? Thanks    Fish

I'm mining on an i7 3770, getting 140 h/s on average. I mined 2 blocks within 6 blocks of each other, and then one more the next day. Nothing so far today. It does seem to be luck. Perhaps the irish are getting all the blocks today?
