Are you thinking of starting a Silk Road based business, and trying to see if there is a market for your precious little products?

Seriously, though, 46 w/ children? Holy wow!  Shocked

I can't answer the poll because three answers apply to me:
Kid under 13, kids over 13, and I'm still a kid (at 43).

They would probably recognize the word "bitcoin" but not have any idea what it means or what it's for.  I should probably work on fixing that.

Funny idea, but this is in fact a huge benefit, many of the foundations in our industrialised society came at the expense of children, and still today child labour plays a significant role in mining of gold, diamonds and other precious metals.

After I finish my real job, I come home and work for my kids for no pay.  This past two weeks I am about ready to go on strike unless they give me a raise.  Aren't there any parent protection labor laws?

I would say about 1/3 of Bees Brothers is bitcoin transactions.  All my kids (except the 7 month old) prefer btc over fiat.  And they can articulate the reasons why.  They try to keep their savings more commodity based...silver, bee equipment, honey, and btc.  So far its been a better return than a savings account.  (Plus, in the summer time they work so hard they don't have time to spend their money) Cheesy

I also have to agree that having children did not change my philosophy.  But they do lead me down different paths of learning I wouldn't have chosen on my own...

I am aware that many contributors to this forum base some of their ideological positions on the fact that they have children.

Explain please? What kind of ideological positions that are popular on this forum do you think come as a result of having children?

Argumentum ad lunam: the fallacy that because Bitcoin's price is rising really fast the currency must be a speculative bubble and/or Ponzi scheme.

Please don't read to much into my statement, not sure how to put this across effectively but in my reading on the forum  I got the feeling many active members have children, kids are sometimes referenced in posts. I was just curious and wanting to understand the typically Bitcoin enthusiast.

I am surprised that about 60% of respondents are married.
As suspected a large number are parents. (This I wouldn't have thought typical)

My children (15 and 17) are pretty knowledgeable about bitcoin.  But they know a lot of stuff that other children do not get to learn, like 9-11 being an act of terrorism pulled off by Israel and elements of the U.S. military/industrial/medical establishment.

My son owns bitcoin himself.  He asks for payment in them.
oh boy, here we go. can someone get Occam's razor?

Maybe he's just Hitler reincarnated? It would at least make more sense.
