How long is the wait if you had coins to sell on yobit? since there is almost 200 million 1337 coin in front of you. A month? Is there somewhere else that you can sell your coin where you wouldn't have to wait so long? I have tried coinexchange but there just isn't any traffic or nobody is buying over there.

It is possible that every wallet that person has becomes a fork, or hits the old fork and whatever rules of consensus that one has.

Future coins should consider the possibility of forking/updating and include an update service in the wallet.

1337: easy to get hard to get rid of! just kidding. its take time to sale this coin, it is better to hold the coin and wait for opportunity if and when the price will rise and the markets of this coin will be bullish. and until that happen, stake them. there is no point letting your coin sleep on an exchange for few months while you are waiting in the sell line.

And I just would like to cash in some of my profits every now and then to make some money. That is the whole point of a POS coin, right? To make profits on the staking and exchange them for bitcoin. If I wanted to literally just hold coins I would just buy bitcoin and keep it in a wallet.

Most other apps and/or software has that in it. That way, an intentional update or even a system wide fork will be done wallet-wide, without anyone left behind.

I can't vote, but I say do the swap and here is why:
It could help solve a couple of issues; the extreme inflation and the high coin supply..
Right now, because of the inflation rate and the coin supply, we need to spend quite a bit of BTC every day to keep the price at 1 sat.. If price rises 1 satoshi (to 2 satoshi), we need the double amount of BTC, and it seems unlikely that anybody wants to supply that kind of buy support for a coin whose price is not likely to rally / pump..
If we want the price to rise, we need to reduce coin supply drastically by swapping the current 1337 coins to a new coin with an exchange rate of say, 1000:1, this in itself should make the coin more valuable, per coin..
But we also need to reduce the inflation rate, otherwise, the supply will grow to a point where keeping price stable is unsustainable once again.
If we could get the new coin priced around 100 satoshi or more, it would allow market makers to effeciently make the market move and if they can do that, they provide liquidity for the market, which would allow us to unload our staked coins for instance or to speculate in the market.

Hi dev,
Any updates on whether 1337 coin is going to be swapped or not? As now the price is below 1 sat and not much daily volume any more so maybe a swap is the best option going forward.
|
I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Best option - mandatory update with halving everery month or 3-4 week. To final percentage 13.37% per year Any other option - 1litoshi it's very, very, very high price. And then miliDoge it is a good price

I agree, if there is not going to be a swap then I also think the POS percentage should be lowered to 1% or 2% a year.
