I'm mining at 670Mhash/s on deepbit, and I earn about 1 BTC daily. How much would I earn if I were to change pool?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

If the pools have the same uptime then you'd earn the same at any of them, minus any fees of course.

More, if you'd change to Bitcoins.lc for example. The website also shows "Estimated earnings", so you'd know it after mining there for a while. |

Depends on the pool of course. But back of the envelope calculation you would earn 1.13 BTC at Continuum in pay per share mode. More in the regular pool but with a higher variance. Other pools will yield different numbers. Just run your hashrate against the pool fees for each pool. |

Being that Tycho charges 3% fee for Proportional and 10% for Pay-Per-Share, you would make 3-10% more at a pool with no fees, of which there are several.

Depends on the pool of course. But back of the envelope calculation you would earn 1.13 BTC at Continuum in pay per share mode. More in the regular pool but with a higher variance. Other pools will yield different numbers. Just run your hashrate against the pool fees for each pool. You must have miscalculated something. If he is in PPS mode at deepbit, and changes to PPS mode at continuum, he'll get 1.056BTC. Oh, and I wouldn't recommend slush's pool, as it doesn't support long polling (which basically every other pool does), so you'll get more stale shares, which means ~2% less income. |

bitcoins.lc -> 72.56 Ghash/s from 289 workers
slush -> 1010.868 Ghash/s

Yes, smaller pools have higher variance. Unless they're PPS of course.
