I know that there are issues with the pools, I will be throwing bonus payouts at all of the pools due to the downtime issues, please bear with us while we resolve the underlying problems. Thanks!

It only cost 1 burst to change pools. If the larger pools are having issues go to a smaller pool till it is resolved. Burstcoin doesnt have a fail over setting on the miners. I am in Europe
I notice that issues tend to happen in the morning and last till about 1pm.

Before you go to bed point your miner at a smaller pool and check it in the morning. You never know maybe your earnings about the same or better. If the bigger pool is online and has correct
block then go back. The devs wouldnt have to pay a huge bonuses and it gives the other pools more exposure.

Yes I second that motion.

Try our little pools, built with a solid code by Uray with our own customizations.

that's correct mate if you anyone having issue using big pool theres smaller one that can also helps us to mine burst and no one knows if
small ones can deliver more or less than what we are getting from the big pools the concern is you will be sure that you are mining something when you fall to sleep.

It's been a disastrous couple of Days for Burst Mining. On ninja nothing mined on the 19th & 20th. Things look ok this Morning but now looks like burst-team.us is off on a fork as it's way behind on blocks and winning them all. burstcoin.eu is not sending any data.

Unless things are sorted soon and the network made more robust I and I suspect others are going to start loosing confidence in Burst.

You can just change pool to one not running on burst.ninja software. I don't know if you are on the forum or have seen the overview: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KHu9BWwy_QXIYAx2m_Tzs9BqPoTYUDhEDbHihZEXGsE/edit#gid=81124645

Luxe also made an overview: http://util.burst-team.us:8888/pool

You should consider changing to another pool if you want more stable payouts.

Agreed I could move Pool, however other than the 2 largest ninja based Pools there just do not seem to enough Miners finding Blocks to give a regular income and after trying them for a Week I go back to ninja as for me the payments are significantly larger.

However my main point is that the ninja based Pools are in a right mess at the moment and have been for some time, and unless things are sorted soon I feel they will bring about a loss of confidence in Burst?

Hey,

is it possible to mine e.g. with drive c:\\ + d:\\ and simultaneously plot another HDD which is not used for mining at the moment? Or is mining prgress impaired by this action?

You are able to mine with all the drives you want. You both plot and mine and the same time, you can even mine a plot you are plotting right now. <you might see a small performance drop, but it isn't something you should be afraid of.

Read more about mining and plotting at the same time here: http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/301/mining-101/5

I agree and disagree cause it all depends on who is mining at the smaller pool at the given moment. Truthfully I have had days where I earned more than when I mined at larger Ninja based pool and days that I earned less. Heck maybe you visited the wrong pool at the wrong time. There are plenty of other pools that are operating fine so confidence shouldn't be loss. People need to go give them a try!

Hey frilledshark,

i have read that with a plot size of about 1.5 TB it´s better to mine on smaller pool like pool.burstcoin.eu.

if i want to change to this i have to pay first 1 BURST to the adress BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY.

How do i have to change my config-stats in the miner (pool adress e.g)?

You need to find the pool which fits you best. Here is an overview: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KHu9BWwy_QXIYAx2m_Tzs9BqPoTYUDhEDbHihZEXGsE/edit#gid=81124645. You are able to see what the recommended plot size with each different pool. Pick one close, but still below your plots size.

If you want to change pool you need to go to: http://127.0.0.1:8125/rewardassignment.html (if you are running a local wallet) or https://wallet.burst-team.us:8128/rewardassignment.html (If you want to use the online wallet) to change the reward assignment. You simply input your passphrase and the pool account in the bottom slots. Remember to wait 4 blocks before reporting something went wrong.

If you want to change pool in your config, you just need to change the current pool address: (In your case it might be: pool.burst-team.us) to the new server. Do that all 3 times where you see an address and you are good to go.

Just ask if you have more questions.

Hey frilledshark,

i am changing by desktop wallet, beacause online wallet always brings a error massage.

I wanna change to burstcoin.biz or eu. Reward assignment adress for biz is BURST-6WVW-2WVD-YXE5-EZBHU, but if i click to the explorer the same reward adress adress is shown like the burst pool us (BURST-32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C). What is the correct reward adress?

Then i want to change my miner settings from the burst us to the biz or eu. The settings are at the moment

"Mode" : "pool",
   "Server" : "pool.burst-team.us",
   "Port": 8124,

   "UpdaterAddr" : "pool.burst-team.us",
   "UpdaterPort": "8124",

   "InfoAddr" : "pool.burst-team.us",
   "InfoPort": "8124",

   "EnableProxy": false,
   "ProxyPort": 8126,

Where can i find correct Ports and info adresses to reconfig the settings? I can´t see them in the burst collection.

Sry for the lot answers...kind regards

All pools use different reward assignments. You can read more about that here: http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/301/mining-101/10. You need to set your reward assignment to the pool you want to mine to. If you want to change pool to pool.burstcoin.biz you need to assign your reward assignment to: BURST-6WVW-2WVD-YXE5-EZBHU.

Mode" : "pool",
   "Server" : "pool.burstcoin.biz",

   "InfoAddr" : "pool.burstcoin.biz",
   "InfoPort": "8124",

   "EnableProxy": false,
   "ProxyPort": 8126,
Everything that is bold has been changed to: pool.burstcoin.biz. The port doesn't matter as they are running on the same software.

O.k. paid the fee to BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY,  changed the config like you said all to pool.burstcoin.eu) and started mining. The following happened (how can i paste some screenshots?)

O.k. paid the fee to BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY,  changed the config like you said all to pool.burstcoin.eu) and started mining. The following happened (how can i paste some screenshots?)

It looks normal and you should also be able to see yourself here: http://pool.burstcoin.eu. You aren't going to be winning blocks everyday, but take it slow and you will get one every second month. (Depending on how mush the miner is running).

Rich

I'm aware with the stability issues of the pools/wallets recently, and am working to resolve them. All the pools have paid up, Crow and I put those Burst that mined on a fork in out of out own wallets.

Due to the issue with pool.burst-team.us overnight getting on a fork and "winning" every block, a 55,000 Burst bonus has just been sent out to all the pool miners. 10K bonuses will be going out to .biz and .eu shortly.

Again, we're aware there have been issues, and we're working on them. Thanks for sticking with us.

H.

Looks like ninja stuck. Can someone post here list of all pools on 1.2.6?
DEV v2 pool still on 1.2.3?

dev pool is likely to never be changed again, and will no longer be able to be used, since no one has heard from the original BURST developer in over 1.5 years.

My suggestion would be to forget about dev pool, and move over to a different pool. pool.burstcoin.biz and pool.burstmining.club could use some extra hashpower.

Please do NOT move to ninja, we're in the process of rebuilding the db on ninja's wallet, and fixing some issues in the wallet that are allowing for the forking issues we're seeing now.

I'm aware that it is annoying, trust me, we've spent over a million coins from our own pockets to make sure the pools pay out even if they hit blocks on forks. So we're pretty set on getting this fixed as soon as possible.

Dev V2 pool is up and running 1.2.6 so main burst dev is still alive (someone change wallet in the pool). I mine his pool from the begining and IMO is the most stable burst pool. Never had problem with this. So i stay with original dev pool
