Nice is actually 3rd of Ligue 1, Nice is behind Monaco (1st, 65 points) and Paris (2nd, 62 points, better goal difference). Against Dijon they got a 3rd consecutive victory on the littlest margin (0-1) thanks to Cyprien. Nice is unbeaten at home (9 victories, 3 draws). Them being strong at home is our best advantage.
Caen lost after its two successes against Nancy (1-0) and Saint-Étienne (0-1) by falling at home against Angers (2-3). They are still ranked 14th (31 points), 4 points ahead of the relegation zone. They have problems playing away (ranked 16th, 2 victories, 2 draws, 10 defeats).
The fact that Nice is strong at home and that Caen is playing very poorly away is my reason to believe that Nice will win tonight, by a little margin, as usual.

Monaco at home is just a monster : 12 victories in 14 matchs at Louis II (1 draw and 1 defeat), 50 goals scored and only 10 taken... The Monaco players only let small dust from their opponents after they crushed them, like Metz (5-0) or Nantes lately (4-0). In the first encouter between the teams at the beggining of the season, Bordeaux was demolished (0-4), with 0-2 after only 5 minutes...
Bordeaux (ranked 5th) can have regrets of its match against Lyon (1-1), because while they could have come back to a one-point gap from them, 4th with 47 points, they let this opportunity go. They would have this way prolongated their serie of three consecutive successes (against Guingamp 3-0, Lille 2-3 and Lorient in Coupe de France 2-1). They are ranked 4th in away matchs (5 victories, 5 draws, 3 defeats).
There is no major players missing for Monaco. Falcao will begin the match on the bench, but will probably enter in the match if things go wrong. Even though Monaco will have its Champions League match against Manchester City in 4 days, given that they know that can still not win the competition, their main goal is still Ligue 1, and they have a great opportunity to get points over Nice, as sadly yesterday they got a draw somehow miraculous, and Paris, as they will probably get a draw too against Lorient given they are still under the shock.

France, after a deceiveing draw against Bielorussia in last September, managed to win its 3 following matchs, against Bulgaria at home (4-1), Netherlands away (0-1) and Sweden at home (2-1). And while they are first, with 10 points, Sweden and Netherlands will push behind, as they have 7 points each, and in case of a draw from France, they would be just one point behind. France needs to win in order to keep its advance.
Luxembourg can be put in the same category than Gibraltar, San Marino or Liechtenstein... As France they made a draw against Bielorussia (1-1), but they lost all the other matchs : against Bulgaria (4-3), Sweden (0-1) and Netherlands (1-3).

Prediction of today is on the Kosovo-Iceland match, with the bet being the victory of Iceland.Why did I choose this bet ? Kosovo team is very young and very bad, let's be frank. In their short existence, they played 10 matchs, winning 1, drawing 2 and losing the 8 other ones... In official match, counting for a qualification, they drawed one I do not know how against Finland, as their first match, and lost the 3 following ones, on the evocating scores of 0-6 against Croatia, 3-0 against Ukraine and 2-0 against Turkey. They are damn champions !
Iceland has a lot better CV, as they have been in some way Euro's Leicester, reaching 1/4th of finale ! Their history in these qualifications : 1-1 against Ukraine, a wonderful 3-2 victory (score was 1-2 at 89' !) against Finland on which we bet on, remember, a 2-0 victory against Turkey and a 2-0 defeat against Croatia.
Iceland is actually ranked 3rd of the leaderboard, with 7 points, behind Ukraine with 8 points and Croatia 10 points. And guess what, Croatia-Ukraine is match to be held the same day ! In case Croatia draws or wins, and Iceland wins, they will be second and will start aggregating advance over Ukraine to get its ticket for World Cup. Motivation will be high ! I see Iceland easily destroying a so poor Kosovo team (this is not even a country !).

Prediction of today is on the Rennes-Lyon match, with the bet being the victory of Lyon.Why did I choose this bet ? Unbbeaten since 4 matchs of Ligue 1, Rennes is not moving now, since the team got a draw on its last three matchs, at Metz (1-1), at home against Dijon (1-1) and on Toulouse's ground before the truce (0-0). 8th at the leaderboard, Christian Gourcuff's men are out of the run for Europa and has not to fight to stay in Ligue 1. No aim is generally bad for team performances.
They will be facing Lyon, which, beside a defeat at Rome in the reverse fixture (2-1), qualified for 1/4th of finale. Still 4th of Ligue 1, Maxime Gonalons' partners lost also on Paris' ground in the 30th matchday (2-1), and only have 4 points of advance over Bordeaux and 3 over Marseille behind.
But especially, this draw of Marseille wil propably boost them, as this is an unique chance for them to keep a comfortable advance in this match against a aimless desoriented team of Rennes, not an untakable fortress at home.
