Is message signing a feature that will be added in the future?  Being that my BTC address on this forum has been from the Android Wallet from the start, this feature seems to be needed more and more.

Thanks.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I'm not using an android client, but isn't it possible to export the private key?

https://github.com/schildbach/bitcoin-wallet/issues/23

Once you have that one, it should be really easy to import it in bitcoin core or electrum (or blockchain.info if you don't care about security) and sign from there?
Or am i missing something?

Yes in Mycelium you can sign a message.

Im not sure if Mycelium has the feature of having exporting private keys there to sign a message.

To the OP , what wallet you are using in your Android?

I will give it a try but I think this is for older version of the software.

Bitcoin Wallet for Andriod.  It does not have these options.
