It is hard to hate crazy or mentally retarded people. 

I feel sorry for Muslims the same way I feel sorry for physically or mentally handicapped people.

In the first place, I think you should correctly identify the community....Muslims, not muslems.  Gosh the spelling on this forum is atrocious. 
Secondly, why oh why are you inflaming hatred and distrust by asking the question?   Muslims are a diverse community not one monolithic entity.   The basic tenets of Islam are positive (just like Christianity),  but just like Christianity, extremists distort the basic religious ideas and create hatred, death and destruction.
