Should Paul Vernon Step down and resign as CEO of cryptsy?

He failed as a CEO, of course he should resign. Cryptsy is done for, his leave is the only logical conclusion.
He is the captain and he should go down with the ship. But does it matter? It is not like Cryptsy has any future now anyway with or without him.

that way he washes his hands with it and leaves someone else liable for the funds..

resigning is not going down with the ship...... its jumping off the ship before the passengers. taking the only lifeboat called the SS project investors.. and rowing away into the horizon laughing at the sinking ship..

he wil resign as thats what scammers do.. but he shouldnt resign. he needs to be shackled to cryptsy for the rest of his life. even if its just for name sake and someone else with morals holds whatever assets are available.. vern needs to not cut his ties from the loss he caused the community

no, it's better to let the whole thing die, it's not like we don't have many option anyway, there are plenty of other altcoin exchange that run well, and their volume is going to increase because of cryptsy

Even though someone come in and buys it, it wouldn't be enough to just Paul Vernon resigning but from it's base the infrastructure should change therefor more people have to leave and pave way for new one's to come and actually work as a team in order to prevent these mistakes.

Where's the prison option?

Nowhere to be found. Be realistic, bitcoin trading is still grey area of legislation, we don't have clear procedures and even if you are massive thief and scammer you will probably be free.
We had even more serious situation with Mt.Gox and  Mark Karpeles in the past, Mark was arrested and yet I don't see him behind the bars. Vernon will be free to leave.
