I've never used the ignore feature but damn! This thread is really better without your posts dude  Grin

The vast and growing gap between rich and poor has been laid bare in a new Oxfam report showing that the 62 richest billionaires own as much wealth as the poorer half of the world’s population.

Timed to coincide with this week’s gathering of many of the super-rich at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, the report calls for urgent action to deal with a trend showing that 1% of people own more wealth than the other 99% combined.

Politics is the problem, there's a reason Governments tax INCOME, and not WEALTH(it's how you prevent social-mobility).

That seemingly little-factor is how the wealthy, have an exponentially growing fortune, and how people that merely work-hard are paying too much tax to grow their own wealth in any substantial form.

Ok so a huge wall. Around all our countries. While still making them work for us? Why would they accept that? Why wouldn't they just start working for themselves?
And you want to build a wall around all Europe and USA? Oo

Walls are already there, and more will be built.

"Making them work for us"... well, you see this is one of the problems. According to some researches: "An employment rate of two percent is consistent with the previous experience in Germany of immigrant integration programs, particularly from asylum seekers..." (http://www.bild.de/geld/wirtschaft/fluechtling/nur-jeder-50te-findet-einen-job-43786808.bild.html - sorry it's in german, but on some far-right sites you can find good translations Wink.) So, as you can see they aren't really working for us, but they will cost approximately 55 billion EUR per million immigrants.

Most of the third world economies can't "just start working for themselves" as these economies mainly concentration on raw material production. Without a well developed processing industry (what is here, not there) they wouldn't get too far.

No of course not. They earned billions of dollars by working hard everyday! That's the American dream!  Grin

That's too bad IMO. If the richest people of the world will not learn how to limit their needs (like collecting sport cars, air planes etc.) the whole modern civilization will collapse sooner than they think. Poor people most likely will gain from the collapse because they already have nothing to lose, but many people like us who are somewhere in the middle will be deprived of many things which we like.

There are only a few billionaires donating to charity just to check out of the IT returns. If they report a donation to charity they wouldn't have to pay as much of Income tax and thus it's all a big gamble in the large society. It's still a good way to distribute their wealth to the poor and needy though.

"Distribute their wealth" no man, no.. Its just part of the system, cant u see they doing that for years and they done nothing. I always wondered if they can't spend it what do they need it? I dont think we will see better situation ever, it will be same, masters and slaves. That just prove that we are still animals. For some will be better, for some will be worst, its completly individual.

It's so easy to make money when you already have a lot. All you have to do is to lend it to those in need, buy their ideas and allow them to work for you. That's why the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer.

Exactly - once you're rich it's very to get richer. Just invest smart. And money will make more money. And stress will make more stress.
