How did you even come up with these numbers? I think if we manage to stay above $600 then it can be considered a great achievement. Everything above that is a nice extra bonus for all of us. It will be a real challenge to see the price reach $1000 again as there will be a lot selling pressure created by whales to prevent it from touching the $1000 price level.

but about the 2016 rise i think the major reason is going to be the halving and the expectation that it has created among the investors for price rise.

The adoption of bitcoin has increased than the past. The best part is the halving, only based on comparison with last time halving bitcoin price is speculated by most users as the highest of all time on 2016.

But... if price raise due to the halving is so certain...Why is it that it does not rise right now? If everybody knew that a certain item price will double at a certain point, Would not that people buy right here, right now? Perhaps the raise we already saw from 200 something to 400 is already the "halving" price?

i am mostly waiting for Steam to start accepting bitcoin. it is not exactly the biggest event but i am sure it is going to be big. since the gaming community and all those users buying games may not have credit card (because of their age) or don't want to use their credit cards in steam. so they can easily use bitcoin instead.

why the last part? it is exactly the opposite. the whales would want the price to go to $1000 and above more than you and me, for every 1BTC we have whales have 100 so if we gain $600 profit they earn $60,000 you still think whales will put sell pressure to prevent the rise?!!

i just want to add that raising the block size has nothing to do with the price. although if the block size changes and the battle ends then the news can cause investors to start buying before they miss out, so the price can rise.

This is nice video, very optimistic. He presented some information and based on that he made this kind of prediction. I believe more in what some people say here about halving, and I see lot of comments about that price is already doubled. Its very hard to predict what will happen after halving, so as a gambler I give chance to everything. Bigger chance smaller odd and smaller chance bigger odd normally.
I will be satisfied with constant and slow rise. Everything will come with the time, just take it easy.

Halving will reduce the pressure of dump from the miners. The block size increase will help the mass adoption.
