Как сказано в декабрьском номере журнала CORE, в ноябре Джеймс (jl777) раскрыл интересный поворот в развитии клиентской части SuperNet, а именно - подготовку Хром-приложения SuperNet:

At the beginning of November, jl777 and killakem revealed an interesting
direction for SuperNet, a SuperNet Chrome App. Previous applications have
been used in the past by the Blitz team which is headed by killakem. This
development is one step forward in bringing SuperNet to the masses.
Chrome applications are extremely simple to download and use. At this
moment the project is under the code name "iguana".
"James has now ported the InstantDEX codebase and much of the SuperNET
code to a chrome app, this greatly simplifies the installation/configuration of
SuperNET and Idex. The chrome app is going to increase the usage of
SuperNET x10 once its released

people dont realize that testing takes a lot of time and effort and right now guess who is having to do all that testing?
and the testing doesnt require coding, just common sense
if you can fill out a form from the API page, you can test the API

now one thing that a NXT plugin dev could do is see if iguana will run as a NXT plugin
if so, then it will mean iguana can become a NXT plugin
since it is html theoretically it can, but it is nonstandard and I fear asking the NXT core devs as they will probably say that is improper usage of NXT plugins (...).

this weekend I will be debugging atomic swap of BTC <-> NXT things
it is actually done as part of the nxtae and bitcoin "exchange"
but it will need a special form where you can specify the swap

There are two halves. BTC side is simply the amount of BTC (but usually people think in terms of price)
the NXT side can be NXT itself, any asset and most MScoins. the latter two are specified with the assetid and currency id

Между делом Джеймс (jl777) переписал Bitcoin Core с C++ на простой C:

Because he believes that the C++ code in which Bitcoin Core is written consumes an unnecessary amount of system resources in its use of of C++ classes and large libraries of dependencies, jl777 has rewritten Bitcoin Core from scratch in simple C - his programming language of choice - for the purposes of maximizing the efficiency of his Iguana codebase.

А можно ли посмотреть скриншотик. Как-то сомнительно переписать в одну харю QT-based программу на С. Сама библиотека КТ на С++ сделана. Это только если что-то консольное у него получилось. Но это уже не совсем тО, мягко говоря

- ссылку выше я привёл. Думаю, на самом деле он переписал bitcoind, и переписал для использования в Игуане, т.е. в Chrome-плагине.
