Gambling itself is not a sin, imho. Nowhere in the bible is gambling, betting, or lotteries specifically condemned or called a sin. Many churches and Christian and Catholic schools use bingo, lotteries, "Casino Nights" and poker tournaments to raise money for charities as well as for themselves.

So for me, gambling in itself is not a sin or even amoral.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Well it depends on you view of what sin is. If you think gambling was made for entertainment values, then you are not sinning. If you follow a religion that totally prohibits gambling, such as Islamic religion, then you are sinning. I think because they see it as wasting money and it is a temptation such as woman showing their legs, arms, necks in public as that is against their religion too.

Well its new for me, never heard about it before. Yeah some old men from my church sometimes go to play bingo, but raising money for the charities in poker tournament sounds strange, even if its the fact.

I do not think its a sin but its of course also not good on certain points, if you will get addicted is very bad and the people that have this addiction know that but they cannot stop.
Although gambling can also be good of course if you are rich and you just want to enjoy yourself it would not be bad just for sometimes in my eyes.
I think it never will be a sin but its also not good, I think its laying between them both.

This is all relative and it depends on your own view on morality. Some people view it as a sin, some not and it's impossible to say who is right or wrong...
In my opinion it's not a sin and I do not think it's immoral.

As of Quotes from Islam(Quran) , Masturbating , consumption of Liquor and Gambling is sin , People in Raqqa(ISIS) strongly follow this , But from my point of view until these stuffs are for enjoyment they should not be considered as sin.

is it a sin?

I guess its how its used? what if they win a lotto, and use half of that money to a knowing non-profit or helping their local communities? lol.

It doesn't matter. It's still a sin.
It's the same argument as "what if by kiling one guy I prevent 100 deaths?". It's still a crime and a sin.
Gambling isn't a sin, and neither does Bible ever mention that it is a sin to gamble. It depends on how you determine it. Also, killing one guy will never prevent deaths. If you kill a person, then a new murderer is born. Hence, it does not preclude deaths but increases the number of fatalities.

Life sucks.

Its not always sin. Because some people are lucky and they have won some a lot of money so that is quite good. But for the most people they lost a lot of money and that is very bad. I hope people should know that.

So do you mean gambling is a sin when players are losing their money and it is not a sin when players won some money?
Sin is not about losing or winning imo, it is more about faith.
Hahah my words are just a joke. I presume that gambling was a big sin do (when the money earned from gambling used to everyday life), in the belief that my personal religious beliefs that gambling is the Act of sins (Illegitimate)

I slightly disagree with you, I feel that gambling is a sin, it is because he can make a person lose his mind and become insane if he was totally hooked

Gambling is oke everyone wants to win some money but do not go overboard. Do not see gambling as your main thing in life. Do not rely on it because if you do that it will go wrong and you might lose everything.

Indeed I think relying on it is never good because you cannot even rely on the bitcoin these days because of the unpredictability.
Also gambling can be good in the overall experience but I do not recommend you to do it a lot because it also has a lot of risks of course

Well with that, gambling could be a sin if you abuse it...when you are starting to use too much effort and resources in gambling, that way you might forget your family, your self, and your job which I think could affect your family life and in turn would be a sin..

I understand what you are saying and it's your right to believe that gambling is a sin. But I would argue that in the example you've given, it's more because of certain personality traits of the person in question that causes the addiction.

I think it's wrong to put blame on gambling for causing people to get addicted, this may sound harsh, but I think addicts themselves are responsible for getting addicted.
And I say this as a recovering addict (not gambling), it's easy to blame substances, gambling or whatever other vice, but accepting responsibility is really important towards fixing your situation.

Gambling has existed as long as human kind has existed on this planet. It all depends on an individual how view gambling. There are those who gamble and use dubious means to gain while there are those who gamble in a genuine way. if you gamble using dubious means that I can call it as a sin, the other way round is okay

Yes it is a sin for some people because their religion says : Any such money is wrong that doesn't come by hard work.
