Its a sin only if you consider it a sin. Things by itself are not a sing, this is religious delusion. You must choose if you want to gamble or not. Personally I have never had a problem with gambling and there are worse things to do.

Agree totally. Everything in life involves some level of Rik at some point. I mean we could be struck by lightning tomorrow. It probably won't happen but the odds are there and we know it does happen since we see it in the news. It just doesn't happen often.  Its like if you cros the road there is risk to be knocked over and killed. But we can improve pur chances substantially by being careful. However in the gambling world you can't reduce your risk % only the risk amount. Hence martingale strategy was born.

I will beg to differ to anyone says it would be a sin to gamble.
It is your decision if you want to do it or not. Nobody is forcing your hand to place a wager on a game or put your coins in to a slot machine. But what is a sin is if you are losing your money and trying to get money to continue gambling by stealing then I say it is.

I think these religions consider gambling as a sin because of the reason of addiction, people often become addict to gambling and they do not care about their wealth and their future and continue to gamble with them. So I think in those games where we do not become addicted and play there only for getting some entertainment it will be fair.

I agree, as long as you gamble with your heart's content and you don't hurt someone else, there is no wrong to it. What's wrong is if it already affects your family or colleagues. It becomes a sin if you start hurting them just to gamble for your own pleasure. Gambling is only a sin if you are addicted to it.

No, it's not a sin at all. It's fun while you know your borders and when you don't, it becomes your own stupidity. I consider stupidity a sin, though. You should make sure that you've the proper willpower before joining the game or avoid it. But one's lack of willpower isn't the sin of the game. Game's just game. You choose what to play with.

Gambling is considered as sin because like many other things which are sins have similar bad effects on society. We can not say with gambling only a person's life is effected since we live in society with other people. Problems created by these prohibited things create restlessness in family,home and society. Their is no sin in gambling , why in the great big epics of god have the story of gambling and how due to greediness a big epics are written in a big battles. if you take gambling as a sin then what ever you are doing in your life is also a sin. The best way to deal with this is by become an agnostic so you admit that you don't really know if religions are real or some stupid fairy tale that people in middle ages believed due ignorance (most likely the second option is the case)

If that is done, then our lives will become one of those things is not fun. For we leave something mandatory we use for our lives (of the faith). The better we do a little gambling and does not perform the way that can ruin our lives and faith. At least we should be able to refrain
