Agreed, on that mate. gambling is not a good influence and it can give us an addiction in a long run
if we become negligent to our responsibility if we are going to entertain it properly.

Sin it can only be for religious fanatics. For me, this is a great opportunity to have fun and win a good amount.

Gambling itself is not a sin however if you are doing bad things like stealing money to be able to play then that makes you a sinner. its actually the gambler who handle such situation, if you are playing for fun its good but if you become a bad person because of your addiction thats not right.

What do you mean with gambling isn't a sin?? Of course gambling is a sin but for people who are firm to their religion and for most members of this forum I'm not sure they think that gambling is a sin, including me.

I think he is , because i also don't believe that gambling is a sin as long as we don't commit any bad thing that makes gambling worst because of the things we do just for us to gamble. There is a good thing in playing gambling, you play it in a good way not to ruin your life and others life .

By accepting your chances you will understand your loses, you will not seek more for money since you know you will just lose more. It will become a sin once your violate your own rules and you loss control causing you to lose an amount you cannot afford to lose, of course it will not ruin your life right away, slowly it will kill you until your realize you loss not only your money but your  life's happiness in general.

I have a little bit of different opinion in this case. I guess the personal rules that we make are only for our benefit. We only think of if I lost this much amount then I has to stop playing on the same day and when we win and earn from it we don’t stop, it is because we think of ourselves only.

What makes it a sin is that we don’t think of the others and according to me any harm weather financial, physical and mental if we give to someone we are committing a sin. I don’t know how much of my friends will agree with me but this is what how I think of it.

No matter how we gamble, whatever the results we get, whether we are addicted or not, sin remains sin. Even though you are not falling into worse, sin is a sin. It is a choice, life is choice, we have been given knowledge of which sin and which are not sin. Next we each choose, keep it or leave it.

Gambling isn't a sin mate for thoae who are feeling saint it is sin for them every one make is a sinner not only for playing gambling it self nor wrecking life bcause of addiction om gamble this is just a bad habbit it called.

Actually the level of gambling addiction can ultimately be controlled by getting positive feedback if well thought out, most gamblers get discouraged into the hole so the definition of gambling is a very wide open crime, there is a fine line between fun and addiction.

If in the real life of pleasure culminating in the imposition of a very bad desire can be neutralized on the basis of religion, in gambling also applies equally in more logical way, there needs to be a real understanding to make changes in every error in gambling so that gambling is able to generate positive feelings .

Yes i will also never seen any church that sells lottery tickets for charity sakes. My question is why they need this cheap and illegal way to earn money for their charity. There are a lot of rich people are there to fund charity. Yes it is a sin to gamble if you are not interested then don't enter this gambling. Here no one is forcing anyone to do gamble.

Gambling and irresponsibility are at variance with each other, there are professional gamblers that are very responsible and run a beautiful home. Those that gamble and are irresponsible to the plight of their families are those who makes gambling seems like a sin but it's just a game in the true sense.

There is no way to always proof over gambling, unless you own a casino/dice house, human is very week against easy and fast ways to make money, why do you believe lotery has soo big rewards? Who dont wanna to spend 50 euros and won 1 milion with his/her lucky, the issue isnt get addicted is the money you will invest trying to reach those, and in those road you are loosing money.

A gambling addiction to gambling with money you cannot afford to lose/you don't own are totally different from just gambling responsibly. If you do the former then I think you can consider that as a sin. But if you're responsible in your gambling, I don't see nothing wrong with it. We're all adults here, we choose what to do with our excess money.

There is a difference between gambling addiction and gambling as an entertainment only. But those who gamble occasionally and use for entertainment purposes only leads to addiction also. I know someone who do not play on casinos but become addicted after several try. I think they are attracted to big money they could win. You must have a strong moral values, in order to resist the temptation.It depends on a persons foundation and other instances that this could not lead to be a habit.

I don't have a thought if there is a positive result about it. Too much addiction will kill you in a way that you will completely forget about yourself and everything about you. And that is going to make you sin that forms other ways of activity that will lead you to sin. Well different thoughts with different point of views base on our way of thinking.

Gambling is considered sin in some countries or religions but others it is not. Gambling is for fun and entertainment and for some it's for profiting. It really depends in your nelief that gambling is a sin or not. Just don't addicted to it because that would cause a sin.
