I'm muslim. For me it's sin absolutely. Because Kuran doesn't let it. Undoubtedly, for my religion gambling is devil's trick. yes in some religions like Islam it is consider as sin because they think that in gambling you are harming yourself or even other when you are or anyother lose money and you do not work for that to earn it.

Yes of course, because earning money in gambling to support your family is not a really good way as a man. It would be great if you are going to have a decent job in order to have money that you could spend on buying things for you family everyday needs and considering the fact that gambling can't assure you that you could really earn money from it because you are just going to lose most of the time and you might just be annoyed on yourself the same time to your family.

There are a lot of people, professional gamblers, that look forward to gambling to make a living I just don't know how they do it. Simply put, look at all of your beliefs, if you have a religion, look at the rules, is gambling a sin? If your religion claims that gambling is a sin, then whatever the object is, gambling is a sin. If you gamble to support the family, while gambling is a sin according to your religion, then you've let your family eat with sin money. Your religion is trying to protect you from gambling problems. If you are taught for your own benefit then you may or may not follow some belief. But if it is being taught in the name of God then definitely you will obey to that. It's not a sin as long as you are not stealing others money. It's not a sin as long as you are not stealing others money. It only causes us to do sin when we are already addicted in gambling and we can't support our addiction in a way that even we want to gamble but we can't do it because we don't have money anymore.
