Bitcoin is must have right now!
This is not related to the topic. Normal people can't understand Bitcoin, that's why they use fiat.

They use fiat, because they are being payed in fiat, they get loans and mortgages in fiat, they pay for groceries in fiat, etc. Subsequently, using fiat is just convenient. You dont need to learn anything new to use fiat, you dont need to go to exchanges to change your salaries into fiat (if ppl were paid in gold for example), can use fiat without internet (big advantage for me personally), dont need to wait 10 minutes for transactions confirmations, etc.

Drugs and child porn.  That's what people not familiar with bitcoin think about it, at least in my experience.  And there was some bullshit publicity about ISIS or Al Queda using it.  What most people are unaware of is how many fucking degenerate gamblers and small-time scammers are using it to fuel their dark desires.  And some people make t-shirts with bitcoin as a theme and then there are the computer geeks.  The media rarely reports the real uses.
Hahaha you made me laugh with "how many fucking degenerate gamblers"

that is good argument, assuming ppl already have bitcoins. If not, than need to explain using exchanges, getting id verified with them, paying exchange fees, learning how to use bitcoin etc. If they can get btc from you without any exchanges, this could also help.

Ordinary people may think it strange bitcoin and dispose waste of time, because of the way to get bitcoin is a way rarely used in reality and few people know crypto.
But I believe that people will definitely know the greatness and ease of bitcoin if notified slowly, people who do not know bitcoin will feel strange with things that exist in bitcoin, they just need an explanation.

If you tell about bitcoin they wont understand it as for 1 btc earning you have to collect 10,000,000 bitcoins so they will be thinking that to collect this much it is waste of time , when they only know about faucet to earn free, but when you tell them about signature campaign and pay per  post earning method they will join surely, when i use to earn free through faucets i told one of my friend about bitcoin but he told waste of time, but now when i am started to earn bitcoins through signature campaign and earning good and now when i told about this he is also getting interested in bitcoin and now he is also doing more work to earn bitcoins.

all my friends think that bitcoin is something really expensive that criminals use to launder money lol. ive tried to get them started with bitcoin by giving em some bits but they just cant get into it.  Undecided

How can they be interested in what they can not see nor touch.

The truth is this - people are so skeptical about the use of internet, convincing same people to believe the existence of virtual currency is like asking a blind person to help find your suit in dark  Cry.

Thanks

My friend told me Bitcoin is virtual, only some digital number in the computers! It has no value at all! The price will collapse any times soon!

Normal people think bitcoin to be some technology based business in which people get involved and within a short period they end up saying that the technology busted or the market went down making a great loss for users

Any business can be done by bitcoin. lay people think that they do not believe what can be done by bitcoin. and they were wrong.

that's mostly due to the fact that the media is wrong about bitcoin. the average joe is the kind of people who nearly believe anything that come from the media. it's sad but the hard reality.

To explain to the people in your area should preferably be with verification directly. Tell and show them that bitcoin is not fraud and prove that you really get the money in bitcoin. It takes hard work to convince people like that.

when I informed some of the my friends and colleagues about the bitcoins uses and its benefits. They are just watching my face and thinking what i am talking about it but when I showed them that this much bitcoins I earned and got the local money from it for my expenses they found it trust worthy and started using the bitcoins in trading too.

I would say bitcoin is digital money that is being used by many people crowded around the globe and easier to use for online shopping than others Smiley

people who are thinking it is a scam are so few, they are practically none existent. that way of thinking was for a couple of years ago when bitcoin was just introduced. at least this is my experience.

nowadays when i talk to people about bitcoin they are not interested in it because they don't see it practical like fiat. and those who does, only use it as an investment.
