I think we could see $800 mark sometime this year around June.
What happens in June? Generally speaking, people start pulling money around summer to move, go on vacation, etc. If anything, we should see a drop around that time. That's true in theory you would expect to see a drop, however I think in the summer time more people will be off of school and have a lot of free time and extra money and the price should go up. Maybe not $800 price range but I think it will be an increase from the previous month. |

As far as I can tell by charts, it looks like the only time when this wasn't true was in 2013 when BTC was all over the news. Past that, you can see clear drops during summer in other years. |

if you are just wishing things, why stop at 8000 go to millions. but thinking realistically, $800 is very well possible if the block halving rally starts. in that case bitcoin price can even go much higher and reach the high prices that it had once ($1200). |

if you are just wishing things, why stop at 8000 go to millions. but thinking realistically, $800 is very well possible if the block halving rally starts. in that case bitcoin price can even go much higher and reach the high prices that it had once ($1200). Maybe it could happen if the price of bitcoin increasing from month to month. But it seems to me very difficult because bitcoin prices now being unstable. But the end of the year I felt confident if bitcoin will reach that number. |

But the end of the year I felt confident if bitcoin will reach that number. in order to reach $8000 there should be massive number of new investors that start buying bitcoin which is why i say it is not going to happen "this year", because as far as i am aware there is nothing going on that can cause this much buy pressure that can push the price that high. |

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

i don't think who is investing right now care so much about it, otherwise the drop should've already occured after the drama of mike instead we are nicely rock solid above 400 |

pretty realistic to see 800$ more or less by end of 2016, everyone hopes that halving will increase price, so do i, and to be honest it will rise price, to 600$ or 700$, so by end of 2016 we should see 800$

I disagree with your claim. If it were guaranteed to go up, the stock market would be dead right now because every investor in the world would be dropping their stocks to go all-in on BTC. BTC is still a test. It's still a theory. It could still drop to zero. You bring up companies/users... they use the blockchain. It's EASY for a site to switch from BTC to ETH, DOGE, whatever. There is nothing proprietary about BTC. |

I think we can see a good shot at reaching $600 yet this year. There will be a lot of wild price fluctuations around the block halving, up and down, but I think once the dust settles we could be going into 2017 looking at a comfortable $500+ range.

I'm thinking the same thing, the bitcoin can be at 800 dollar this year easy, I even think it can go to a higher amount this year, we just have to wait till its really so far so we can reall say it is. The halving is also coming so I think it can go to 800 dollar easy because of that we just need to be patient! |

I agree with this one. 500 range seems like a great step up from where we are (and is still a +20% jump over a year), assuming it's stable. Really, even 450 stable would be a pretty solid jump and better than returns almost anywhere else. |
