Hope to see bitcoin rise up to 1000$ this year.
Maybe the Feds over in China didn't take BTC into consideration when they decided to devalue the yuan to boost export.
A currency war would be a wet dream for bitcoin in my opinion.

The bitcoin can easily go to this amount due to the following events that are coming this year without any doubts.
The block halving and maybe even the block size increase are not enough to get the price there. I of course hope it to happen but it's simply not realistic to happen within 2016. But if we remain realistic then we can say that it will happen in this happen, just think about the year of 2013, what happened at that year? the price was much lower and after halving the price of bitcoin started to increase like sky rocket and from $280 it reached to more than $1200. |

we can only hope for this year, but I think this will not happen, it is very difficult to achieve a price of $ 800, even $ 500 price is very difficult to accomplish this year |

600 dollar will be easily reached this year and I think that 800 dollar is a amount that its way easier to be honest with the halving that is coming. We should just wait of course because no one can predict this. |

I personally really doubt that we'll come close to seeing $800 within the year, but you never know. We might end up seeing something like that and everyone on this forum will be happy, but aside from that, it seems unlikely.
I don't think the value of Bitcoin is going to double once the halving comes around, and that's because I assume that miners were able to live off of Bitcoin being $200 and they'll be able to adapt to the halved supply relatively easily.
Unless something happens to get investors interested again and start having more people buying Bitcoin, I can't see $800 by the end of the year.

don't make yourself waiting for something that won't happen this year. it's too much just to happen in such a short time. i think if we reach $500 and manage to stay above that price level for the rest of the year, then that's a great achievement. more can we not ask for. |

Who cares about the rise.
Focus on the now for getting the quanity regardless you need to be rich. So that way it wont even matter if there is a price flux per year or not.
Its waste of time to keep meddling with if the price is going to increase or not.

Finally some one with a realistic look on the market. It's very rare these days to find people that don't got taken over by the block halving hype. My prediction is slightly lower than $600 but still I find $600 to be a good price level to focus on. |

We are all hoping on it and I think it will rise to a high amount if everything will go well these days, its just a matter of time before we will know this right ? Hoping is one thing and being realistic the other. I guess when investing your own hard earned money it's better to avoid the former. |
