Grats as you got your S7, but remember that ROI will not be that easier in any case as many are "investing" into BTC mining these days to just take the fruits of double rewards unless they are in stock and after halving happens, the profits will also halve, so just pray that you see price spikes in order to let your mining survive...

I am glad to see you could set up your miner. Congratulations! check the electricity cost though, and watch for it to be cooled appropiately. I hope it can be profitable enough.

Do you have a 240 V outlet? Such as a car charger port in a garage (in my case) or an unused washer/dryer outlet. I can help you more easily in that case, otherwise you can get high-end desktop style power supplies, but I'm not experienced with those. On a similar note, I might upload a video of my setup soon.

you may make a profit.

for now.

roi will NEVER be achieved. new models will be out soon 50-200 TH.

diff will skyrocket.

profitability will be down the drain.

Hi Pete,
do you have any info related to this news? It would be nice to see those machines.

Thanks.

well i have 2 s7's running at 0.15 Eurocents/kw electricity and I am not making any profit...just barely the same as the electricity cost...but im getting started on kano's pool and it seems that profits could go up in time...dont realy understand how his pool works exactly anyways Smiley
at this point with any miner you either hope for solving a block or bitcoin price skyrocketing to make any profit or very low elecricity cost and very low means less than 0.08/kw

0.016, 1.6M satoshi per day, but you need to remove the cost of electricity unless you free power of course

it was 0.04 at the beginning, this was 3-4 months ago

Congratulation. It reminds me time when I set up my first rig.
Unfortunately most important is to do not waste any time. Be prepared all infratructure needs to be ready at time when your new miner arrived. Just unpack it, connect and leave it working for you. All delay has big impact of possible ROI. I wish you some luck with your pool and no issues with you miner.

0.04/day was roughly what my S3s were earning when I got my first batch of 4.

The growth was oddly slower the second month after I got them and looking at the current trend I feel bad for new entrants.

I'm excited to see if this works out for you !! I've considered getting a machine but don't want to invest in something that has bad returns. So any information you have as a beginner would be greatly appreciated.
