i've tried mining with slush's and deepbit and cannot get connected.

everytime it just give me the "Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC"

I've tried port forwarding 8332 and 8333 to the miner and even added to DMZ as a last ditch effort

Still can't connect..  Also can't connect to local bitcoin client.  Please help.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!
