I appreciate you not deleting my post....this is more of a test then anything considering the subject matter. I want to see if any of the BERNie fans actually practice their beliefs and I will report back on this thread. Great way to show support for your candidate as well. I think the entire US Government is corrupt, and politicians are clearly destroying the foundation of which this country was built. I am not a proponent of any of the current candidates and am honestly saddened that these are the best our country has to offer as leaders.

I think the entire US Government is corrupt, and politicians are clearly destroying the foundation of which this country was built. I am not a proponent of any of the current candidates and am honestly saddened that these are the best our country has to offer as leaders.

I do not think anyone trying to suggest that the politics in the USA are not corrupt has a sliver of an argument. It is fact and known far and wide. For far too long we have just assumed that corruption is the way politics must be and elected who political parties told us to. We are dazzled with an illusion of a choice but feel "they" will empower who "they" want. Finally I do think people, myself included, are waking up to the fact that it is our own fault things got this bad. We are the people that let this happen to our country. We can either lay down and let the corruption continue, hoping to make it through just one more presidency, or realize it is our country to fight for and elect officials that will root out the corruption in all its evil forms. Make no doubt, it will take much more than just any one election.

I do respect your position to not support any of the candidates but, "none of the above" is not an option. Not that I would opt that way if it was an option as I do feel Bernie Sanders is our present day FDR. Last I seen, voter turn out was something like a ridiculously low 54% here in the states nationwide. How can we possibly expect democracy to work in our favor if we are not willing to do our civic duty of voting? Don't get me wrong, I know it is a confusing and rigged process and is very discouraging but, I do think enough of the process remains that we can still save our democracy. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it. If it is too corrupt to be saved, I chose to be one of the people that go down fighting. I urge you to not surrender and cast a vote. If you are undecided, I ask you to vote for Bernie Sanders. Of course, respect your decision if you feel better about another of the given options.

If we do not do politics, politics is going to do us.

These are the only pools that have informed us.

Sure some multipools might have jumped in.

Not really certain on what is going on in New York today with their primary. Reports of voter registrations magically changing, broken voting machines, polling stations opening hours late, and the, what has become expected, voting difficulties in "the land of democracy".

Some people are even having to go to a court house, wait many hours, prove to a judge they did register, and get a court order from the judge!! To vote!!

I remain hopeful the shear number of voter turn out will not allow democray to be completely suppressed in New York's primary. But appearently the full book of tricks is coming out.

The AP is calling New York for $hiLlIARy.  Sad I guess all the wall street influences' voices are louder. Exit polling had her winning by only 4%. Current results are showing more like 10%. I will let you draw your on conclusion why there is a big difference. #VoterFraud But, that said, it may not really be over yet in New York regardless of tonight's final outcome. An audit of the Board of Elections in New York has already been called for. There is another legal battle going on to get some 56k votes counted. It is a mess and, unfortunately, it will most likely be more of the Arizona situation where they just admit and promise, "Yes we screwed up. We will try to improve before next election." Which does nothing to repair the damage done to democracy.

In Bernie's defense, New York has what might be the most "closed" primary process of all the states. Some 3 million+ voters could not even participate because they are registered as Independent. Independents are largely Bernie supporters. They would have had to change their registration 6 months (the biggest gap of all the states to my knowledge) ago to vote in the democratic primary. 6 months ago very few of us, myself not included, had even heard of Bernie let alone thought he would have had a chance enough to make voters actually change their party affiliation. This system is so whack that you would have to pick what parties primary you will be voting in before even knowing the candidates of the parties. Those party affiliations magically changing for many people worsens the nightmare voting has become in the United States. This is NOT what democracy looks like.

Unfortunately as it stands now, Bernie's winning streak has ended. Maybe we can have democracy on another day.
