A lot of people have a gambling problem these days but its also logical because gambling can be highly addicting like a game.
Most likely this is because of the feeling you have won and you want that again without knowing it you can addicted to it.
Overall I'm thinking self control will help the most people.

Everybody knows 'drugs are bad' and still there are plenty of addicts. Everybody knows cigarettes are bad for you and still there is millions of smokers in this world. Just as with those, everybody knows that the house always wins in gambling. |

People which are losing in initial stage and they see that recover of money is impossible many times stop playing. But people who win at the beginning, mostly will become a gamblers. |

Allot of people overall have a problem with gambling, I think it's about getting out and not relating to it when you shouldn't IMO.
I think that is not a gambling problem getting not involve in gambling is a good choice if you don't want to get hook on gambling don't get involve with it so you wouldn't have a problem. yeah stay away from gambling at the first place wouldn't make any problem. what make problem is when people involve in gambling already and mess things up. yup! stay away if you can't handle the addiction because of it, but if you can manage your bets then it is good and continue playing it there will be no problem if you know to yourself what will you do! |

Having some distraction doesnt really stop you from gambling. It holds your gambling addiction for a while because you have something to do but your desire to play is still big enough so after you make a comeback you will sure going to play really hard to earn some good profit like he said, it's a medicine, a therapy. it supports gamblers in quitting gambling journey. they can fail and comeback but they also can successfully do it. |

Yes, gambling addiction is the main root cause for the problems of many gamblers here. Being over ambitious towards winning big profit from gambling causes gambling addictions which eventually results in big losses. |

Just as with those, everybody knows that the house always wins in gambling. Yes, everybody believe themselves to make big profit by beating the gambling houses. Not everyone I think.. those who get rich because of gambling, thinks about their money, they won't get rich if they always go all the way everytime they bet..The real challenge to them IMO is how to avoid being busted and waste everything..except if they are happy go lucky child.. |

Many people in this world have a gambling problem, I personally do not. Gambling is a serous thing and can destroy your life if you are addicted to it.
If you have tasted some success and wins with gambling it is pretty hard to stop.
