Any disagreement with that user was referred to as trolling and being a paid poster.

Oh well cunt, we will be on the same side for one point finally. Cheesy

What i wonder, was that a self moderated thread? It would show pretty bad manners to open a discussion thread only to kill all different opinions. I don't see such a marker but maybe the marker vanishes when the thread is blocked?

We definitely need an alternative. And regarding dictator... when hearn would be involved ok, but gavin doesn't look that way to me. Even when he would, we could chose not to use his network when he does. The danger of him acting as a dictator is way less than with hearn on board.

Guess CIYAM did not get all the angry voices claiming that transactions take ages. All possible because of the artificially crippled bitcoin protocol.

though i asked a question and the response i got was to call me a liar and other words to try to avoid him just replying with a simple answer..

i was going to give him the full code for what he asked for during his meandering attempts if he answered the question asked.. but then the insulting started..

so instead i private messaged him with just a little temper in the hope he would answer the question

here is my private message to him. and i hope he does give a respectful and direct answer as i refuse to give him code if he is just going to insult

firstly, all i want is an answer to my questions about why you feel no one can or should make their own implementations and why you feel blockstream crew are the only gods that should be lords and masters..

a full and detailed response. without insults or trolling please.
explaining
1. why people cant do it themselves
2. why only 4 people should have the commit keys of everything bitcoin. and no one should decentralize from that
3. would you trust blockstream if you found out they were bankers backed too.. wanting to kill off bitcoin for their "liquid"

4. and a personal question now.. what if someone told you. to stop programming for bitcoin because "your not blockstream" so you dont matter. and because you then dont matter in their eyes.. they deem you as no longer a coder.. of anything

please reply with genuine respect. even if it means taking a few minutes to relax, have a cup of tea and compose yourself before replying..

so here is a tempter, i know you will say its useless as it doesnt show you all the goodies.. but thats why its a tempter
Code:
    Function BasicTXmaker()
        Dim Rtx As New TXData
        Dim txid As String
        Rtx.version = 1
        Rtx.locktime = 0
        Rtx.vin.Add(Addinput) ' ciyam answer my question and i might show you whats behind this function (addinput) as we both know this is where the goodies are hiding (scriptsig)
        Rtx.vout.Add(Addoutput) ' ciyam answer my question and i might show you whats behind this function (addoutput) as we both know this is where the goodies are hiding (asm)(hex)
        txid = Hashtx(Rtx)
        Rtx.txid = txid
        Return Rtx

    End Function

and ill give you a little more.. not quite a nipple slip.. but maybe enough to make you think i do have some code. to then answer my question with respect

Code:
    Function Addoutput()
        'because ScrPuKey is a child of vin, we have to fill ScrPuKey first
        Dim ScrPuKey As New ScriptPubKey ' ScriptPubKey class found in TXClass.vb
        ScrPuKey.asm = getASM()
        ScrPuKey.hex = ' ill show you more if you show some respect because you know you wanna see that getASM

oh and by the way i am not the only one who has made a full node in something that is not C++
mine is in VB which you should know is very compatible with C++... if you know what your doing and stop insulting people.

so relax, have a cup of coffee.. take a breathe. maybe listen to some slow music to calm your nerves.. and then i hope to get a straight forward answer from you that does not sound like your looking down on peasants and treating them like shit.

have a nice evening i look forward to your reply... respectful reply..

i will post his reply.. if he does.. but hope he posts a genuine reply here instead

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

These small blockers seem to be getting very defensive lately.
They seem to perceive that an economic majority taking over
Bitcoin would be an attack or a threat.

Here is an interesting article posted in the other thread (click the quote tag to check out the thread):

Quote
Do you ever feel like you are in a conversation with someone and they are not really telling you the whole truth?

http://codesuppository.blogspot.ca/2016/01/the-lightning-network-reality-check.html

Quote
There is one way that the Lightning Network numbers do work; and that is if individual people don't get to access the blockchain at all.  If the only ones opening and closing channels on the main blockchain are banks and wealthy individuals, everyone else can just operate on layer-2 or 3rd party networks 100% of the time.

He took the ln-calculations serious and came to the conclusion that ln only can work the way ln-devs claim when the bitcoin blocksize gets raised.

i think the term used here is "moderation"

everyone is entitled to their opinions.
big blocks and no fees is great in utopia land but very few will mine and secure the network for nothing.

"Moderating" based on Theymos' personal biases.  A "pro" classic thread gets moved, but an "anti" classic thread gets to stay on the main board.

I think what he meant was that the thread:

"Bitcoin Classic" is a classic attempt at a hostile takeover.

Remains in the subforum "Bitcoin Discussion" while

"Bitcoin Classic" is NOT a classic attempt at a hostile takeover, apparently.

was pushed to the "Altcoin Discussion" subforum.

I mean even when theymos decided that discussions about forks of bitcoin are to be classified as altcoin discussions then it would need to mean that both threads are about altcoin discussions. But the way it is now it means that the contra fork discussion gets way more attention in that subforum than this thread gets in this subforum. Which means it's manipulating the public view on that topic.

Edit: Guess that step immediately led to silence in this thread. Discussion stopped. Hm...

It's pretty much continuation of the same thread. Theymos is not even pretending anymore...
