If you are from India their is a ZEBPAY wallet particularly for mobile very user friendly and good support , they support other than India i dont know . Their price is also very good for trading also.

Guys i m looking for the most secure android bitcoin wallet with fallowing features
1.Complete control over my bitcoins-Only i should have private key to my wallet nor the wallet providing service like coinbase.

2.Easy complete backups-Even if that wallet service got hacked i should be able to recover backup on another service.

Please tell me if such wallet exists for android.

With whatever things you asked for here i think MyCellium is the best in my opinion.But i think it will take a bit to get used to it.But you can though use up blockhain.info wallet app but whatever features you asked for can only be done with the help of computer .The reason why i mentioned blockchain is because it is easy to use and i recommend it to others as well who want a simple wallet in their phone.

I use Coinomi, it is a modified electrum client. Bip 32, 39 and 44 support so never fear of losing coins. it also supports many altcoins.

If its a modified version of electrum then it would be good. Electrum is a perfect wallet which works and have high secure features without flaws.

The most secure mobile bitcoin wallet is Breadwallet but unfortunately to use it you have to have an iphone or Ipad as its only available in the iOS store for the moment. If you happen to have a Iphone don't look any further, just download BreadWallet it has the best encryption features straight out of the box.

I think mycellium with a hardware wallet attached to mobile is still the most "secure".   I don't think any software based mobile wallet can reach the security of that combination with hardware wallets.

The initial setup of Blockchain.info is on the computer, but after that you can download the mobile app and connect it to your account. From there you can manage your wallet from your mobile.

But if you own a apple iphone - I go with breadwallet. They also serve the same security as a hardware wallet since the bi39 or bi38 I forget is a keyphrase that can recover your balance on the network, not the phone.

So lets say someone stole your phone - then they would have brute force 4 digit pin, then the keyphrase that was used to recover the balance.

You actually have an official wallet for bitcoin on the Play Store. Just search 'Bitcoin' and it will appear first.

2. It is easy to recover, just back up the wallet with your passphrase. And when you want to recover the wallet go to Options (3 dots in the corner)>Safety> Restore wallet and insert you passphrase.

Official wallets are always the best.

I can recommend you to use Mycellium this wallet is great, and the private keys are offline only till now no issues so far!
Remember the wallet is only safe if the phone is safe, do not install all crap you find on playstore and the most important that i could think about not install this if your device is rooted or jailbroken!

try "Mycelium", i've been using it for a long time now and i can say my coins there are secured, but dont forget to make a backup always as we dont know what can happen to our devices

Hi guys ! What exactly makes a wallet secure. You say Mycelium is secure but why ? How do they keep your coins what if something happens ? I only have ever used blockchain. Maybe its a loyalist thing but I'm not o keen on a new wallet by anyone else but I would like a mobile one perhaps maybe if only for smaller amounts and purchases. Whatt do you think ?
