Does anybody know if any government is making its own cryptocurrency? I think governments are possible contenders for cyptocoins as well.

Dont understand why you put Goldcoin GLD in THE PURGATORY when this coin is outperforming most alts. It has a very active dev team, a big and growing dedicated community. It should at least be in CANDIDATES list. I think its time to update your list.

GoldCoin must be on BTC-E
BTC-E is kicking TRC out in December, so we need goldcoin in that place.

And...we need a simple mining software lite the bitminter client, that allows easy mining goldcoin.

Agreed.

Also, you got to love that Goldcoin name.  Simply put, the name can be easily recognizable worldwide even in other languages.

Cryptocurrencies made by a government? LoooL
You can now change the lyrics of "Say goodbye Hollywood" to "Say goodbye freedom"

We  would need  more stability in Goldcoin mining...

Hey there, I wanted to ask that you consider moving Worldcoin up to the Minor list. Various times in the past few days we've passed Feathercoin in total market cap, and we're currently sitting at $1,500,000.  We also need to have the block time updated to 30 seconds, and you could also add that it has a 1% reward reduction weekly.

Thanks,
gudmunsn

How Can I create my own crypto currency? Can anyone give me contacts of people, which may help with this? Or maybe can anyone help me with making crypto or give some link on how to change existing codes? I have a great idea how to fill it with liquidity.

Hello OP.  Thank you for the list.  Could you please update the MegaCoin information?  New thread located here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=240861.0

It may also soon be more fitting to be in the Major/Minor category.   Wink

Hi OP, please add Netcoin (NET). Netcoin is traded on Cryptsy in the LTC and XPM markets and the devs are doing a lot of work to get it noticed and adding services for this coin.

Website: http://netcoin.org.uk/

Thanks Smiley
