Big update done.

1st anniversary edition Cheesy

There is over 35 new coins added, there might be some errors, please check and help to correct them.
Feel to suggest changes in categorisation.

Thanks everyone here for motivation to work.

Came back saw the update and was like good now to keep observing ^_^
Anyways a factor in the listing is market cap so its nice to have a lot of eyes watching the Alt coin market
Thanks for this i'm sure others will point out when the list needs updating as well Tongue

I see Gridcoin has a true innovation if you have a deep look at the efforts that the dev. team has made. Please really consider this coin which benefits the real science.

Agreed. There used to be new threads here frequently from people objecting to the "wasted electricity" from most mining. Such threads often advocated using BOINC in some way. Now this is possible in the form of Gridcoin, and it looks like a serious effort to me. As a long-time BOINC user, I also mine and endorse Gridcoin now. Since it's a scrypt-based altcoin, you do not have to compromise your ASIC-based BTC mining to use it.

If you know of BOINC only as SETI, please be aware that it now includes many project alternatives, including those from the IBM-sponsored World Community Grid ("Gridcoin", get it?) - research projects seeking cures for cancer, malaria and HIV/AIDS, for example. This is serious stuff. Please check for yourself.

There are enough HIV/AIDS related projects already, some of them are truly innovative and successful.

Just one example:

VDA concept intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FPuIMycqv4
Official site http://www.koronispharma.com/index.html

But the modern HAART's lobby isn't interested in the KP-1461 development. Because they don't need a cure, they need a medicine to sell.

Please add this coin.  As a very longtime BOINC user - I love the coin plus research concept.

Then don't use BOINC for HIV/AIDS research.  I have looked for SETI, monitored earthquakes, modeled climate change, and helped cancer research.  For a list of additional possible uses for extra CPU cycles try looking at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Project_list

Please add Stable and sexcoin to dead/dying. As a matter of fact, add 99% of them to dying because when these NXT clones come out these 'shitcoins' will be canned
