There was hype about Zcash for sure. But it has been beaten down badly and now it is getting stabilized. I think this is the time to start mining it and if you are looking to buy into it, then I suggest you to wait till January as by then you should be able to get it for much better rates. By then, the slow start period would have ended and supply will be more.

The market capitalization of Zcash seems to be on an upward trend, although the price seems to be slowly declining. I doubt if buying it as an investment is prudent, given that not enough cash seems to be coming into the system to maintain Zcash's price. Miners seem to be selling coins at a lower and lower price.

There is no final answer, and we keep flowing our assets into whatever the current medium of exchange is most valued. A lot of the most heavily vetted issues are integrated into other coin systems, and we are seeing the field evolve overall, which I believe is the final goal before we establish a true cryptocurrency for the masses.

As it sits I think we are ALL on the bleedin edge of developing a solution to the big-brother issue which stems from a cashless society, and we are working hard to ensure private and safe transactions for the world. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, paypal, they can all be hacked, but a decentralized blockchain is nearly impervious and we are overcoming the ultimate roadblocks to instant safe worldwide transactions.

Zcash is a true innovation and I feel they can take crypto currency to the next level. But the hype was little too high and it is good to it getting corrected. The team behind Zcash is good enough to handle the road blocks ahead.

Bitcoin and open blockchain'so invention is changing the world of finances. It wasn't possible to transfer (millions of USD worth) value internationally without any trusted party and ID verifications. With bitcoin it became possible. Right now, for almost free and within several minutes. Technology is changing the rules and states will be forced to correct the law to fit new reality. Otherwise there is a high risk of increasing the gap between governance and real economy. Free exchange is the natural people's right, temporarily seized by fraudulent banking mafia.

If you look carefully, the current market cap is essentially made up of two "pumps" of about $4 million, one at the very beginning, and one a few weeks ago.

On the contrary.  A "legal" transaction is in principle one where both parties agreed upon to trade (that is, where not one party is holding a gun against the head of the other one).  Whether a third party wants to know about that, or worse, want to reap in part of the deal (taxes), has nothing to do with intrinsically "legal" affairs.

I dont think so that zcash could able to handle those issues that are happening as of now.Prices are tending to rise up again but i dont think it will continue on the long run.Zcash might have a potential but when i saw it really dumps hard its price i lost its trust into it.Blockchain technology is really good in terms of security compared on those government regulated things.

It will need over a year to get recover about its price. Supply was telling a lot about the future of zcash.It will stay at the low level for some years later. A lot of the big miner was dumping it until the next year in my speculation.
