The Republican debates have wrapped up in New Hampshire, with some formidable bickering, topped by poll leader Donald Trump’s comment that he would “bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.”

Trump is also the person who recently in November said he does not care if torture doesn’t work, because “they deserve it anyway.”

On Saturday, he continued in the same vein. “I’ll tell you what, in the Middle East, we have people chopping the heads off Christians. We have people chopping the heads off many other people. We have things that we have never seen before, as a group… I would bring back waterboarding and I’d bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.”

His opponent, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, went as far as saying he does not believe the notorious practice of simulated drowning to be torture. “It is enhanced interrogation… It does not meet the generally recognized definition of torture.” He later added, however: “I would not bring it back in any sort of widespread use.”

The point for you and me is, Trump would take American freedom away. And that means your freedom and mine!

Trump said that he'd charge countries hosting overseas US military bases which is insanely idiotic to say. Not only are those countries providing the US with soil after entrusting that they wouldn't use their military force wrongly and affect local populations, they should also pay the US?

I live near such a base and I can tell you that local populations aren't benefiting one bit from their activities. Not even the local economy as their supplies aren't usually purchased from local markets. Trump might have a different vision for America but his foreign policy is one of the most atrocious.

I am living far away from the United States. So personally, I am not planning to do anything. That said, Donald Trump as the POTUS will be much preferable than Hillary as the POTUS for me. The former is against invading third world nations, while the latter has already promised to the Israelis and the Saudis that she is going to invade Iran once she is elected in to power.

Few things that do not make sense to me and this aspect you mention would put a few of those issues to rest for me.
One being that they are allowing Iran to flood the market with oil at a time that oil is already low. This puzzled me but if they are looking for a reason to attack Iran it would be like taking the muzzle off and hoping they bite.
Also weakens Russia farther and that would most likely be Irans main buddy in a fight. I know you go deeper than me on these issues and just curious if you have a link to confirm the promise.

Currently all of my 401k investments are in international stocks and funds. In all seriousness I would actually move my investments back into US companies as I believe that is the only thing Trump will improve. At least before he starts herding muslims and mexicans into gas chambers.
