I think you are talking about the beta version of blockchain.info where you can't sign/verify a message and you can't import/export private keys according to some users here. I haven't checked yet, since I heard once you logged in to beta you cant go back to the old one. Looks like blockchain.info is trying to come out with a simplified version of their site.

I am wondering about this also but I will like to try that when I have zero balance in my wallet because anything can happen.

You've got it wrong. It's V3.
I will not recommend upgrading just yet, because there's no ios app integration, no place to export your private key, no place to import a private key, no method to return to the v2 wallet but making a new account to transfer your coins to, no aliases, and the list goes on.

Following all the short coming that you mentioned, it means this V3 is in beta version or testing version, I will not risk my little coins here.

Haven't really tried the new version out.Its keeping poping-up on my wallet to give it a shot with a warning that its in beta version and storing a lot of bitcoins is not recommended. So yeah, its a bad idea to upgrade for now.Since you have used it.any significant changes in the UI ?

From the outside, much of the functionality has remained the same, and many endpoints will be familiar. This update lays the foundation for future advancements of our service, as it runs using our new v3 My Wallet engine at its core. Our roadmap and future updates rely on this engine as a foundation. Beyond just the new core, this update is faster, more usable, and more secure. It also runs as a service in your local environment, while continuing to interact with the Blockchain API. - See more at: https://blog.blockchain.com/2015/11/30/new-at-blockchain-wallet-api-version-2/Imo it is not worth to test is right now, seems like too little changes for me.

Based on your post its quite confusing and would not even try to use that new version until I fully understand how this new version works and if all members are comfortable using it,if they want to come out with a better and simplified version, they should fully explain all of this to us

when u login to the beta wallet, separate login access, go to settings then wallet information and you can link android / apple based on instructions there. regarding importing private keys, go to settings, adresses and manage the imported addresses to allow u to import keys. ntil later

Finally got to try the new version.I must say it looks beautiful.Quite complicated on the other side.Took me a while to figure out how to export a new private key and an address. No login data is saved in the browser (the private key) like the older blockchain. They mail you your unique login link which is good and bad as anyone with access to your email can probably get an access to your wallet too.

Once you change to the new version, you cannot go back. I tried it out for a little, and will have to say it's still in it's early beta stage. Do not store your savings in the V3 until all the problems have been ironed out, and it comes out of beta. V2 is much more reliable at this time.

I dont think there is a way, IIRC you dont have access to a permanent address or the private keys

I dont think there is a way, IIRC you dont have access to a permanent address or the private keys The new version looks nice, but it doesn't have all the normal features of blockchain. It's simply a reskin. That's why I don't like it. Oh god. OCD kicking in. It's the v3 wallet, not the v2.
