I believe that the fee should be changed from 0.1 to 0.01 lisk. This would require a soft fork but would benefit the all voters / community.

Yeah it would be a good thing too.

Changes i'd like to see :

• Lower transaction fees (0.1 to 0.01 LSK or 0.05 LSK max)
• Maybe lowering voting fees too (1 to 0.5 LSK ?)
• Hard-coded minimal sharing for delegates (50% ?)
• More delegates (200, 1000 ?) with more delegates per batch of course, and/or far lower voting fees

With the recent "surge" in LSK price, entry ticket is far more expensive. If we want mass adoption for LSK, i think fees have to be cheaper AND rewards better.

How long is the average time to receive coins from the delegate pools? I am waiting 11 days now, nothing there yet. Is that normal?

It depends on
1) Each delegate sharing %. The higher the % is, the shorter you'll have to wait
2) If a pool is involved, and pool rules
3) Your wallet wealth (or "vote power")
4) Minimal payout threshold for each delegate and each pool involved

what concerns me also since longer time is #1 delegate Thepool.io. Their acutally 75% share sounds fair, but their 0.2 Lisk payout threshold is such stupid. As smaller voter, I get average payouts of ~0.25 Lisk, but each time 0.10 Lisk network fee will be deducted. So the effective share is much smaller. Tried to contact them via PM, at forum.lisk.io etc. but never get any reaction from them.

Indeed. It is not good idea to make minimum 0.2 Lisk. The minimum should be no less 0.5. Better 1Lisk.

Let me explain, how you get paid by the GDT members, you've named here. We all pay LSK to the account gdt_bonus every week. Those LSK go to the account gdtpool and from this account you get paid. But only if you are a Gold Voter. To be a Gold Voter, you have to vote for all GDT members. After you've voted for all GDT members, you are a Gold Voter and you get paid automatically by gdtpool. Additionally to these payments, some GDT members act as a pool (on their own). But in fact, you get LSK from every GDT member, as long as you vote for all.

By the way: As soon as the delegate gdtpool is forging, payouts will increase drastically.

Ok so I have been using lisk nano 0.12 for ages

I decided to try the latest client 1.10

When I log in with my pass phrase it does not open the same LISK address

I can see my lisk on the lisk blockchain

So ok I went to the 0.12 to send my lisk to a new 1.10 address

my password opens my 0.12 client no worries.

however no matter what I try to send I get


"Error An error occurred while sending the transaction."
in the 0.12


So exactly how do I access my LISK?

It can be confusing, I understand.
My delegate (Phoenix1969 donates 882 lisk to the elite payout pot every week (30%). On top of that, my personal Delegate pool pays you another 20%. payouts triggered every few days with a low threshold. https://vote.phoenix1969.win not to mention all the donations.
...meaning I return well over 50% back to the lisk community. Hope that helps?

Indeed. It is not good idea to make minimum 0.2 Lisk. The minimum should be no less 0.5. Better 1Lisk.

I set a minimum threshold of 3 lisk. I think 1 is too low. Small voters will lose 10% on tx fees of their earnings.

It's hard to find a good balance, where you pay out frequently enough so voters can see their returns, while you don't dilute their returns by sending too frequently.

At first I paid out every few days using a 4 Lisk threshold, but as more and more smaller voters showed up, I started to pay out once per week and lowered the threshold to 2 Lisk.
In this case the transaction fee is no more than 5% while on avarage is much lower (because 7 days gives a chance to accumulate more than 2 lisk reward), while once a week still a fairly frequent payout schedule so voters won't wonder when they are getting their reward..
