@Techbytes : Is it true that you sold your LSK to support another project ? :/

Not true.

-tb-

Okay then, so why do they complain ?
One guy said "I don't like what you are doing with your forged Lisk." and you said that too earlier, that they don't like what you're doing with your forged LSK.
Can you tell me what you do with your forged LSK and they don't like ?

what concerns me also since longer time is #1 delegate thepool.io. Their acutally 75% share sounds fair, but their 0.2 Lisk payout threshold is such stupid. As smaller voter, I get average payouts of ~0.25 Lisk, but each time 0.10 Lisk network fee will be deducted.

Update: it looks like thepool.io just increased their payout threshold from 0.2 to 1.0 Lisk.
Thats good to see, even that the "voice" of us voters find more and more open ears.
So keep posting here your concerns with delegates, guys.

Can you tell us, how exactly do every GDTpool member contribute to the pool ?
How many LSK do they send to the pool for each block they forge ?

Every forging GDT contributes to the pool sending at least 150 LSK every week.
GDTpool is only 3 months old, in the first month we rewarded our voters with 300 LSK / day.
In the 2nd month we upped it to 400/day and this month to 500/day.

Can you explain why there are so many delegates not sharing at all ?

Our goal on GDT is not to compete by giving the higher rewards. We hold most of our forging rewards to support APPS as soon as they are available.
You can see what we have been doing here: https://liskgdt.net/contributions
It needs some updates since we are allways doing stuff, at this time mrv finished a new wallet and we are waiting for the designer to finish it, for ex.
What we want is to have the SDK out and start building Apps, if that have happened already and we got some Apps out, there would be no doubts about GDT goals.

And you're telling us that "usually", each month, there's a change on the list and what ? We have to change our vote every month, which means votepaying 1.1 LSK ?

Yes. 1 month ago philhellmuth joined GDT. He is now the Irish embassador organizing meetups to spread awereness and a known and valuable asset to Lisk.
This month we added Vekexasia. He is a develover that already solved some Lisk bugs, you can see his contributions on Github.
We hope to have him forging soon so he can continue to dedicate his time to Lisk development and gets us closer to the SDK and the Apps.
Next month we will add 5an1ty and joo5ty. Both known members of the community, 5an1ty beeing another talented developer and joo5ty a strong Lisk supporter very active in the community.

So yes, it does cost 1 Lisk and Lisk is getting expensive, but the fees will be reduced (it was already promissed by LISKHQ and we hope it happens soon).
Until then, its well worth spending 1 Lisk every month if it helps to make GDT stronger.
Note that we are not just adding new members, some of our old members are leaving due to their poor contributions to Lisk. We are trying to keep our number of delegates at 32-33.
1/3 of the Network beeing supported by trusted individuals with diferent skill sets is a good thing in our view.

I think all Lisk supporters should see the importance of having valuable individuals taking care of Lisk, people that can be contacted at any time and are ready to build on Lisk, intead of the ones
that are just sharing profits to take some for themselfs, with no contributions to the echosystem.
In the end, thats whats going to make Lisk worth $100

No you dont have to revote if the balance of your wallet changes. However if you transfer your balance to a new wallet, then yes, you have to revote from the new wallet.

@Techbytes : Is it true that you sold your LSK to support another project ? :/

no need for a discussion just unvote techbytes!

as you see alot off ppl dont want you as a delegate anymore.

when techbytes is out the top 101,
GDT pool is getting a forging spot.
Easy choice.

As far as i know, it seems that only GDTpool members want to kick techbytes out the top101 list.

hello guys, consider voting for 32 GDT delegates with ONLY 1 LSK to get gdtpool rewards automatically every week.

We do not pay ourselves so maximum reward goes out to you!!
Additionally there are 19 GDT members acting as individual pools, so you would be receiving separate payouts from each of them.

The pool list usually gets a small change on 1st of every month, so remember to check the list then. Cheers!

So, this is GDT pool member list with individual sharing for each delegate, from your own website : https://pool.liskgdt.net/members

Why should we vote for you guys when there are delegates who share far more than most of yours ?

Is there a calculator for earning by votint for a delegate?

I´m using this one:
https://dpostools.com/LISK/holderview/yourLISKaddress

via https://dpostools.com/LISK/ only, you can recognize how much "Lisk Elite" has overtaken the 101 delegates list meanwhile.
Just consider the many black /!\ at the right side - each of them is is a "Elite" member paying lousy 25%. Don't support them.

sorry, but GDT members share even less than elite. so i won't vote for you.
after unvoting elite i have still 51 votes left. 51 votes for pools that are more than 51%.

too late. you should have shared more from the beginning. i hope that nobody will vote you because of the increased sharing amount.

i think i have to make a list of delegates that suddenly start to share more.

I have some LSK at Bittrex for long time and never withdrew them seeing there is going to rebranding was extra reason to let them there. I see this voting discussion on previous pages that brings income. Am I late for this to cast my vote or still can proceed after withdrawing from there ? When actually the rebranding is going to take place, any estimate ?

Hello everyone!
As not everyone would know, I am an early supporter of Lisk running nodes since april 2016   Grin
I want to inform you guys that I decided to increase my share with my voters from 25% to 50% starting this week! - weekly payouts
For more details about my donations and sharing distribution here is my proposal and my pool stats page: https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=136&p=494#p494
Vote for samuray - rank 92 !   Wink

Sounds cool but I think that you should have done it earlier.
I mean, most of the people already offer you much more then that and I don't think that they are going to just return to your pool.
I believe that the actual fair rate should be something around 80%

Can you tell us, how exactly do every GDTpool member contribute to the pool ?
How many LSK do they send to the pool for each block they forge ?

Every forging GDT contributes to the pool sending at least 150 LSK every week.
GDTpool is only 3 months old, in the first month we rewarded our voters with 300 LSK / day.
In the 2nd month we upped it to 400/day and this month to 500/day.

Okay.
150 LSK per delegate/GDTmember per week.
And how many LSK does one delegate earn each week forging ? How many blocks are forged by one individual delegate each week ?

Tell me if i'm wrong :

10s per block / 6 blocks per minute / 360 blocks per hour / 8640 blocks per day / 60480 blocks per week.

Let's say each delegate forges the exact same number of blocks. 600 blocks per week per delegate on average ?

That's... yes : 3000 LSK per week. Giving 150 LSK per week = 5% sharing.

5%, guys. Are you kidding us ?

If you keep giving 150 LSK a week per delegate, voting for you could be interesting when forging give 1 LSK per block. In 4 years i'll reconsider Cheesy

Me and lots of people here barely even get 2 LSK a month. Even when one get, say, 10 LSK a month, that's not worth it. Only whales can afford to vote for you...
And even with bigger rewards a month, i won't votepay to keep my votes up-to-date with your unstable member list, to support so many people who keep nearly 90% (or even more) of their forging outputs for their own wealth.

There are ONLY 101 delegates, and i think giving one third of this forging power to 1 POOL only is a very big mistake, moreover when this pool at a whole clearly doesn't want to share its rewards with voters/LSK owners.

I think LSK needs :

More delegates (1000)
Lower voting fees
A mininum sharing of 50% per delegate

Please unvote the following delegates

+ corsaro: 10% share only
+ tembo: 15% share only
+ mrv: 5% share only
+ redsn0w: 10% share only
+ splatters: 10% share only
+ joel: 15%
+ dakk: 15%
+ 4miners.net: 0%
+ cc001: 0%
+ digitron: 0%
+ hmachado: 0%
+ grumlin: 0%
+ goldeneye: 0%
+ liskgate: 0%
+ punkrock: 0%
+ gr33ndrag0n: 0%

All of them are from GDTPool. GDTPool is very bad for voters

So I'm bad for voters, even though I provide a lot for the lisk community?  Including closing Github issues at lisk's beginning, providing lisktools.io (which does need to be updated, but waiting for Lisk 1.0 with new API), and providing the Lisk Android Wallet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mrv.liskgdt.wallet
gr33ndrag0n is bad even though he has been the one providing the most reliable snapshots for everyone, makes sure snapshots work with new lisk releases, and has provided alternate wallets and explorer sine the beginning?
hmachado is bad even though he has provided liskak for all delegates to keep their nodes running smoothly
4miners.net is bad even though he has provided great new explorer features and has contributed to closing GitHub issues.
...
I could go on  Smiley

If you just care about getting percentage returns on your holdings, then I think you are looking for PoS coins   Wink

I think LSK needs :

A mininum sharing of 50% per delegate

-If you are worried about GDT having 1/3 the forging power, I can only image what you think of Elite with over 1/2  Grin  You also have to understand GDT is not just a pool, that's the bonus part.  We try to make sure our members are actively contributing to the system.  Whether it's writing scripts, fixing GitHub issues, doing social media, creating new sites and apps, participating in lisk.chat and helping newcomers, etc.

-I agree voting fees need to be lower and everyone hopes they will be with lisk 1.0
-Changing to 1000 delegates is not easy; you are changing the whole consensus of the system by 10x.  Also, currently I don't think there are 1000 unique delegates that are running nodes 24/7.  You would get a lot of people running multiple nodes since the barrier for entry is so low.  At this point too, you might as well just be PoS.
-As for a minimal sharing; that's not the point of DPoS.  DPoS is about rewarding delegates that are working hard for the system and actively contributing to it.  That's where DPoS has an advantage over PoS.  In PoS a lot of people just sit idle and let their wallet get a return like a savings account, since there is no incentive to do more.  In DPoS if active delegates aren't working to improve the system, voters should unvote them and get someone else worthy in.
