Hey guys. I have some questions before I bet the house. Thanks in advance.

1) How much of the ICO funds have Lisk spent so far?

2) When can we really see real work from the team (leading to strong price moments in Lisk on the Exchanges)?

3) Why does Lisk have high inflation (same goes for Ethereum) ? Why not keep a lid on inflation like Ubiq?

4) What makes it better than its competitors?

5) What makes Lisk stand out from other altcoins?

Thanks again.

Not sure but ill try...

1- 10000 btc in a mid long storage. 1000 btc in hot wallet. So that means that they "spent" 3000 btc out of 14000. A lot of that 3k is still not spent, they converted to euros, franks and dollars and im guesing that money is for 2017 expenses.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The rate per bitcoin is not as important as rate per usd.
Even if it reaches to 80k it is not important as the BTC price is falling, what is important is they should have strong value in comparison to USD , that is what NXT,ETh, XMR keep in mind.

Keep it in a hard steel locker covered spy cameras. It would soon be 1k
At that price 1k for lISK, I'll buy a lot of it. It will be very correct, the price he will have much more than now.

guys if steem pumped upp to 22k omg then lisk should be 80k each. dont sell any lisk yet.
lisk is to cheap right now. buying as much you can.
It is of course all very well and beautifully spoken. But that will affect the price that it becomes 80k, which you have proof of his words?
If you have no proof, and it's just a word. So your words empty chatter

Greetings all,

Remember Elite Group will share 25% of our forged Lisk to voters who support all delegate members of this group, 5% will be sent to Lisk Fundation.

If you would like to be one of our supporters please go to www.liskelite.com/member and vote for all our members listed there, once voted please go to http://liskelite.com/voter to verify your voting address. For security reasons we kindly ask you to send 0.18 Lisk to the following address: 9524367522012787573L. The following proccess is there to make sure that the votes have been broadcasted accordingly.
The system will ask you for your email, it will be used for any alerts and will keep you up-to-date with our voing list.

This week we will have more rewards to share, we have more active members, don't forget to vote to receive dividends.

Kind regards.

4) What makes it better than its competitors?

5) What makes Lisk stand out from other altcoins?

Thanks again.

1) Around 1700 BTC I guess.

2) When SDK release. Now they are fully focusing on it.

3) I think inflation not too much. If altcoin has limited supply and no value, it is useless.

4) Blockchain Applications Platform: Written in JavaScript. Running on Sidechains.

5) Lisk not just another altcoin. Lisk is a startup, which has its own cryptocurrency platform to solve a very specific problem. Namely, developing decentralized technologies. At Lisk not the token is in focus, but the functionalities are. Next to Lisk there are only a handful of projects with real use-cases utilising blockchain technology. That means everyone need to grasp a future in which cryptocurrency platforms are actually used, and not only exist for speculation. Lisk stand out from the “competition” by offering a platform which makes the world of apps more decentralized.

I can admit that Lisk team will not do this. Max replied me :

"I think we are in a big liability if we start playing with the markets. That's why we bought our LSK off the market.
I think it's too risky, legally wise, to buy/sell on the market."

It is real demand for Lisk I guess. People realize that Lisk has huge potential and they saw Lisk team progress. It is also eth competitor. And too cheap. I am not surprise for this demand. Wait transparency report for this liquidated BTCs.

I'm Lisk supporter from the begging and I would you say what I think about groups like GDT and Elite. The current DPoS implementation is conducive to the formation of such groups, it's true and you have to deal with it.
If you will act as delegate there is three ways currently: be pool, get votes from Max or Oliver (their and foundation hold around 12mln LSK) or join alliance.
And to be honest I have nothing against formatting aliances like GDT or Elite, only think what I care it's safety and decentralization of the network.
If you check GDT profiles you will know that this they are "real" pepole from diffrent countrie's. But at last day I start track Elite history and it's looks like
alliance wealthy whales who will have few delegates in top. Examples:
Bigfisher and liskjp - if you check their history you will know that their always co-operate together, and also collect together votes
xujian and  will - also act always together. I found xujian is ARK investor so propably is "real" person, but will? Seems like his double delegate
Last time I also saw that new delegates grow from nowhere, intresting hm? Their register an acoount and bum! new Elite memeber! Examples: "hong", "panda", "kaystar", "jiandan", "threelittlepig" etc. They are new account's!
So my theory is that rich group has bought more lisk's on last big dump's, nothing wrong with them. But I'm AGAINST their plan's to get 2 or even more delegates in the top from 1 person! It's not in Lisk safety and decentralization intrest...
Also I think that their distribution plan is stupid and scam:
Quote
2. Every member of Elite must share 25% of his/her forging reward to his/her Voters every week;

3. Every member of Elite must donate 5% forging reward LISK foundation;

2. Seems nice, honest distribution you say? Check who will earn from this - the big wallet's like liskjp_260k , badman_voter or bigfisher_330k and all other elitte wallet's. There is example: https://explorer.lisk.io/tx/3215747948044801428

3. Another stupid point. Who will donate to foundation? Max still has a lot of money, and will not hire more dev's because his opinion that this will slow down development - it's his words! LOL

So if you decide to vote Elite group consider do you really wanna let this 50 delegate spots to no-names rich whales who contribute nothing? Yesterday I observed example of this double delegates and how will network work's if they reach 50 delegates in top:
https://i.imgur.com/EerTgLE.png
Luxiang and mac was "red" few hour's, Luxiang and mac are in Elite, Luxiang and mac recover their node in the same time Smiley Magic?

I'm not GDT supporter, but if I have to choose from group of acitive and contributing in diffrent ways GDT alliance and whales Elite I choose gdt..

Ending this post I hope that DPoS algorithm will be changed, current implentation support alliance's and big whales instead promoting active people from marketing or programmers. Thanks for your time and welcome to discussion

What new "wallet system" are you speaking of?
I think you have been misinformed. There's nothing wrong with the current wallets.

What everyone's waiting on is the SDK "Service Development Kit" which is a tool for constructing sidechains.

Nice post.  If you are looking for DPoS changes, check out ARK DPoS implementation.  You will like it or not but soon we will see how it fare when ARK launch in 3 days.

That's not really fair.
Some of us were here supporting Lisk for an entire year without ANY return. and continue to support the project.
Do you have any clue how many lisk tools were developed by GDT members? you should do a study and post it, lol, you will see that GDT has created DOZENS of tools and alpa games/sidechains while members of elite have created what exactly?

I think the "elite" group is a bit dishonest because while paying out 25% to voters, they get 95% of it back because they vote for themselves ofc; which is fine, but the truth is the payout to voters who are not in the elite group is much closer to 4 or 5%, nearly nothing. There are elite members who obviously do not run failovers, and leave their nodes unattended for far too long.
I have even offered to help ANY delegates with setting up failovers and/or monitoring... nobody from elite group has contacted me for help, yet they are the weakest links in the chain. Think about these facts for a moment.
Also as ClaudioC pointed out, there are obviously "sockpuppet elites" ... they must know this right?

The name is fitting. It is a popular belief that "elites" always step on the backs of the poor to better themselves.
