LSK against USD/Fiats is only rising

But against Bitcoin it is very Volatile look the trend Channels I paste above. There are some speculators from Forex, especially Japanese and Korean markets with a lot of BTC manipulating the market.

When 500BTC means $5 million appearing and disappearing on sell or buy side on Poloniex during hours, it can be only market manipulators.

As per the entry point, i would say you should allow it to go deep before you enter altcoins are booming in the market right now. You can wait and see if any deep will happen soon.
