We are at the eve of the rebranding and LISK is at $29 and change and was down all night. When it did make a move, I saw a tremendous sell volume in the red...someone has been manipulating LSK with big money. The rest of the crypto community is skeptical...because LISK still has no functional blockchain for public. Not even an Alpha...of the core.

That said, I do have faith in this community. I know you stand behind this project no matter what and how many delays. I am a bit less forgiving on delays having been a CEO before and know you simply cannot miss multiple deadlines and get behind in a fast moving industry like crypto. The public that is in crypto is mostly in it to make money, and delays do not mean money. They dump in a heartbeat on FUD or bad news.

I still am in...if this blockchain is everything they claim it is, and they do not mess up this rebrand like last time (a conf. in Nov. which many say was done unprofessionally) I could see this coin hitting $50 in a month or two. However, you need to understand that much of the volume and price of LISK is controlled by those who love it. There are many in this crypto community that have little faith in LISK and see it as the "Just wait...one day" crypto. So, the team needs to really nail it and then we may see the "soar" that the post I quoted from predicted. I think the sidechains and Javascript make the product interesting and the fact there are projects lining up when there has not even been a BETA released is promising.

I've bought lisk months ago when it was only $8, and it's cool to see the team and the coin grow. What started as something a bit messy slowly becomes a big professional power coin that might change the crypto landscape. There are already ICO's planned to make use of the Lisk platform.

I agree with you on everything you said. LISK know this too that if they do not deliver on 20th, MANY will loose faith in them so they will do this time professionally. This happened with ripple SWELL as well, People had high hopes and in the end SWELL was not that successful as people thought it would be and in december ripple just soared beyond expectations. You also need patience to make big. If u do not have patience then the profits you will make won't be massive. So tomorrow is near and we will see what happens. In crypto some projects are their to stay just like bitcoin, Lisk is one of those project. Its not going anywhere.

In my opinion lisk price  will drop today because now a days people just buy altcoin on rumors and sell on news but lisk is mainstream project and it has bright future even many times they delay their plan. I have strong believe in lisk.

Yes, good point. I have been patient...the management just needs a good PR team and a big dose of delivery. I can wait...but as an investor you want to see an eventual working product. I am excited and hope they knock it out of the park later today.

I bought back in at 6000. So I am pretty good now...and it has been doing very well. I could well take off but would have to retrace a bit...BUT I expect it to keep climbing with only minor retracement starting in a week or two.

Ripple on the chart looks as if it has tested the moving avg 3 times and found support. It is narrowing...and even XRP haters are saying the chart looks as if XRP may take off soon. Maybe some money could be made on that as well....I am HODLing a majority of my Lisk, however.

Look at the devellopment of BrikBit. How will this benefit the Lisk community and the price of Lisk? If this is how the sidechains will look like the price will only go down. It's a very very bad thing for the LSK holders.

I don't think it works that way.
A "2nd level" sidechain as they call it will still be a standard sidechain on Lisk. Maybe they mean it in a way that it is governed by BrikBit.
(Correct me if I am wrong)

To compare it to Ethereum: How do ERC tokens benefit the Ethereum community and price?
It's not necessary for the price to be at 1000USD/ETH for the system to work, but here we are.
Same can happen to Lisk.

There are no lsk-independent tokens, as this would require the project to have its own mainnet. Being a part of the ecosystem will require LSK tokens to start with, whatever number of sub and sub-sub sidechains, you start with LSK and branch out of there. This will drive the LSK demand. Unless the project has its own mainnet, all belongs to the lsk ecosystem and is connected to LSK mainchain, and the utility of LSK token and LSK network is in no danger here.
