Now, some candidates will want to secure their position by sharing more; by sharing 2%, you are likely to get twice as many votes as those that share 1%, as that’s the equilibrium point where voting for you has the same payout as voting for anyone else. And what about robinhood?

If a cartel equilibrium does not form, then an attacker can simply offer a share percentage slightly higher than 100% (perhaps using fee sharing or some kind of “starter promotion” as justification), capture the majority of delegate positions, and then start an attack.

sharing 1% to 2%? is this a typo?    most are only sharing 25% and this is sh1t! at least 50% has to be to be into to 101!
and Vitalik is not telling us a future problem, we already have that problem with Elite + GDT (yes it's called GDT, please spell it correct)  so those aren't new infos - and as Max Kordek already knows about the those Delegate allocation cartels he will soon deliver a solution.

Did anyone pledge on liskascend.com? Is it worth it? I think it is, we would need to sign a message in lisk nano client and that way we would "pledge" or "promise" to vote for ascend when they come to top 101? Whats up with the rewards,how and when would we received them?

i checked the Ascend website. it looks like they really are interested in the tech and not just the money.
i will think about it. but the Ascend delegates need still a lot of votingpower to start forging.

btw: the problem is that a lot of voters are needed to change the top 101. i dont have enough lisk to do it alone.
