if you dont want to read the hole text read the quotes at least.

Quote
Now, some candidates will want to secure their position by sharing more; by sharing 2%, you are likely to get twice as many votes as those that share 1%, as that’s the equilibrium point where voting for you has the same payout as voting for anyone else. The extra guarantee of being elected that this gives is definitely worth losing an additional 1% of your revenue when you do get elected. We can expect delegates to bid up their bribes and eventually share something close to 100% of their revenue. So the outcome seems to be that the delegate payouts are largely simply returned to voters, making the delegate payout mechanism close to meaningless.

Quote
But it gets worse. At this point, there’s an incentive for delegates to form alliances (aka political parties, aka cartels) to coordinate their share percentages; this reduces losses to the cartel from chaotic competition that accidentally leads to some delegates not getting enough votes.

Quote
The flaw in all of this, of course, is that the average voter has only a very small chance of impacting which delegates get selected, and so they only have a very small incentive to vote based on any of these high-minded and lofty goals;

And after reading think about what Elite and GDP are doing.

And what about robinhood?

Quote
If a cartel equilibrium does not form, then an attacker can simply offer a share percentage slightly higher than 100% (perhaps using fee sharing or some kind of “starter promotion” as justification), capture the majority of delegate positions, and then start an attack.

ah yes, more and more members....

Everyone who resisted to buy LSK when it was between 30 and 40 dollars should buy now. This is THE opportunity to get in and make a ROI of 10 within this year.

Good! We need more adoption and LSK may back to 3x as previous.
Now many people keep selling at bottom that will be good time to buy LSK at under $5.
if that time come I would buy full bag of lsk

sharing 1% to 2%?Huh is this a typo?    most are only sharing 25% and this is sh1t! at least 50% has to be to be into to 101!
and Vitalik is not telling us a future problem, we already have that problem with Elite + GDT (yes it's called GDT, please spell it correct)  so those aren't new infos - and as Max Kordek already knows about the those Delegate allocation cartels he will soon deliver a solution.

Did anyone pledge on liskascend.com? Is it worth it? I think it is, we would need to sign a message in lisk nano client and that way we would "pledge" or "promise" to vote for ascend when they come to top 101? Whats up with the rewards, how and when would we received them?

WOW - thx tuvok007     - best post i read in a long time!!!

www.liskascend.com is a big step to get a solution with the (rip-off) delegate pools, to stop the worth + value deduction from the stakers to those pools
(sorry to generalize not all delegates are like that)

+worth - Delegate minimum shares 50% to Stakers
+value - Delegates are software engineers, marketers and organizers, it experts and cryptographers - and (best part) they check themselves to deliver content for the Lisk Ecosystem
within a 3 month period, if Delegate becomes inactive it looses it's Delegate place and gets replaced***

***Replacement of an inactive Delegate happens like this: the predecessors LSK address is used for the successors Delegate - so no extra vote is needed  Grin

If you are keen on a change and want to help for a sustainable Lisk Ecosystem, share that info!
And sign a message with your NANO client to pledge to vote for them.

They have more infos on their website how the pledge works;   Readups to their PROJECTS;  an planned option to self scale your payouts 1-10 LSK, Payback on Votes, Refferral system  etc....

https://liskascend.com/#mission

PS: i am not a member of Lisk Ascend but convinced that this is the right way to get forward

those are the new LISK Delegates - give them your VOTE - those ppl aren't greedy they are keen on building apps for the entire lisk ecosystem!

And in the Sherwood pool, we are NOT greedy. We Do NOT want to increase our team to get the majority.
We want to share more Lisk to the voters and help the community.

I find voting really tricky, especially if there are new delegates. Its hard to know who is the best, for rewards and the lisk ecosystem. Is there a good way to determine who is the best to vote for.

Hope its not an obligation to vote for all you six to get the rewards cause I"m 101 full  Grin We have an Elite group with 54 members, GDT group with 33 members, Dutch pool, Ascend guys...  We need more of new gangs forming, delegate wars is on a horizon.

You have to vote for active forging delegate to get the full reward. That's all.
If you want to get more, you can swap some of your vote and choose our new Sherwood associates. But it's not mandatory, of course!

I cant wait to see a real Delegate war :p I think Ascend is doing a great job, btw.

Hello Liskers,

In your next voting session, don't forget to vote for samaritan delegate.
80% forging rewards share between voters.
5 x 100 Lisk in a monthly lottery for voters.
Weekly payment for balances over 1 Lisk (0.1 transfer fee is paid by the pool)
http://www.lisk.ovh
Best deal for low Lisk holders!
Maximum long-term profits voting strategy: http://lisk.ovh/lisk-most-profitable-voting-strategy.html

Kick the so-called Elite gang out of the forging positions, these are greedy peoples who didn't reward 1/3 of peoples voting for them!

@LiskPro.com
then share 99% or even more. share everything that you dont need to pay for the costs running the node.
robinhood forged 199,702 lisk! thats a funking lot of money!

i checked the Ascend website. it looks like they really are interested in the tech and not just the money.
i will think about it. but the Ascend delegates need still a lot of votingpower to start forging.

btw: the problem is that a lot of voters are needed to change the top 101. i dont have enough lisk to do it alone.
